  • honestly i'm just curious
    are you

    apple-shaped (big in the middle)
hourglass-shaped (larger on the top and bottom, thinner in the middle)
    pear-shaped (larger on the bottom)
inverted triangle (larger on the top)
NEW... potato (big all over, possibly lumpy)
NEW... banana or ruler (when you are straight up and down, also seen as a boy shape)

i have a big belly, but i consider myself hourglass-shaped because my breasts and behind are quite large, and i have very little fat over my ribs. i have always had a large booty and bustline for my size... when i was a size 0 in the waist my booty was a size 3 and my boobies were a C-cup.
  • I'm definitely a pear!!! Makes buying jeans so darn hard! lol
  • I'm hourglass.

Which is nice, but I'm such a short model! LOL

I keep D+ cup size in bras, even when I'm 32 inch around.

My waist is always about 10 inches different than my bust or hips size, no matter what my weight that stays proportionate.

When I'm small, I can easily where size 6 skirts, but pants are always 8's because of them actually having to fit my thighs/hips. It's annoying because I get that 'apple bottom' look and my pants gap, and I can rarely go under a medium top b/c of my bust.
  • I am an apple. Big everywhere but more so in the middle.
  • Definitely an Apple. Kind of like a candy apple...stick legs and a round top.

Jealous!!!!! lol. I want to be hour glass shaped! lol
  • Apple/Inverted triangle. I count them as the same thing.

ETA: I guess it's actually banana. I just put my measurements through the body type calculator I posted.
    Bust: 40 Waist: 35.5 Hip: 40
  • I've always been an hourglass, now I have this belly which makes me almost an apple-- that's part of how I know I need to lose (besides the BMI).
  • Definitely a pear -- a very large mutated pear!!! I could possibly go with hourglass if the top and bottom -- both of which are large -- were even slightly proportional to each other. However, my sister at one point weighed 25 pounds more than I did but could wear pants 2 sizes smaller because she's apple and I take up a row of seating by myself. Oh, if only Rubenesque women were back in style!
  • An apple, I guess. I carry my extra weight in the middle. I have very broad shoulders, no boobs (32B) and narrow hips with a small butt. So mostly, I'm build like a football player.
  • A wide hourglass. My last measurements were 48-38-48.
  • Is "potato" an option? LOL

I guess I'm closest to apple.

if Rubenesque women were in, i wouldn't care about weighloss other than for health reasons (since gaining weight my breathing and heart condition and stamina all got worse) but at the same time, i'm always being hit on by chubby chasers so remember... Rubenesque women ARE in... in the eyes of the beholder ;D not everyone wants a twig!

HAHAHAHA - Someone I know refers to himself as a "skinned potato" (he is very fair-skinned) and I can't ever not laugh.

I am a banana or whatever, my measurements are 30-24-34 or something but I don't have wide hips and my shoulders and arms stick out (weightlifting! hurrrrrrgggggfffff) so I'm not pear shaped.
  • LOL @ potato, I think I am one of those too!!

I think I am a very wide hourglass too, but I don't really know. I find it so hard to compare my shape with samples I read or see online.
