  • I thought it would be fun if we all list our excuses for not losing weight. But the catch is... It's gotta be your own personal excuse, not one you've heard from other people!

    No judging other's excuses!!! Play nice and have fun!

  • I'm genetically predisposed to being fat! All the women in my family are fat. It's just how we're built
  • It's too cold outside! Definitely not like there's any indoor exercises I can do.
  • I can't
    I'm not ready
  • I'll start tomorrow.
  • I work all day, no time to exercise.
    I'm an emotional eater.
    I'm Italian, I like to eat.

    My favorite.....I am in shape. Round is a shape!

    Just to name a few....and yes I have used all of these!
  • I'm too afraid if I lose the weight, I'll gain it all back and even more. Which is worse than not losing the weight in the first place. Holding steady at a high weight is better than yo-yoing down then up and higher and higher.

    This kept me from trying for 14 years.

  • I ate one thing off plan so I might as well eat everything I want today.
  • I'll just fail at dieting anyway so I'm going to eat whatever I want whenever I want!
  • I'm sleepy and I really don't feel like going to the gym! It's not like I'm gonna ever get this weigh down anyways!!!
  • I'll start after (Christmas/New Year's/Halloween/Thanksgiving/Easter/birthday/Groundhog Day...).

    I've used them all. Well, ok - not Groundhog Day. I would have, though.

    This made me giggle, I never used Groundhog Day as a landmark date for anything but next year, watch out!!
  • I've been through so much stress lately, I'm don't have enough emotional energy to be on points today.

    I've honestly used that excuse lol.
