These challenges were one of my favorite things about coming to the board & I don't see where there has been one recently, so I figured I'd make one up & see who participates!
This challenge isn't that long, just a few weeks, seeing as we're coming close to the end of January, so It shouldn't be too hard to think of some short term goals, weight loss goals, non-scale goals as well. I hope that we can keep the tradition of checking in, encouraging each other & keeping a positive attitude. Hopefully we can have more of these challenges after Valentine's day is Over! who's with me?
Phat, thanks for starting this thread! I know there are other challenges but some of them move way too fast for me to keep up. I prefer the smaller ones where it's a little more personal and easier to keep up with everyone.

I want to be in the 180's. Even if it's 189.9! I've been peeking at the scale and I'm this (-) close!! But I know from past experience moving from decade to decade can be very elusive for me. I usually plateau for weeks before the scale will budge so I'm giving myself plenty of time in case history repeats itself.
I'll join ya'll! I just started dieting in the last week(the 17th). Start weight was 254.4. I want to get to 246 by Valentines Day. I don't weigh in officially until Thursday, But I did weigh yesterday and was down 251.8, so I'm hopeful I'll be happy with my week 1 results and well on my way to my Valentines goal!
PHAT- I love your forum name It cracks me up. You can do it!! I bet you can lose 4 pounds by V-day! I'm going to shoot for maintaining under 184 pounds and hopefully hitting the 170's by Valentine's day. (At 182.4 today).

I know how frustrating that time can be. Up, Down, Bloat, Bloat, Bloat and wicked cravings for all things unhealthy. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with it anymore. I had "bad plumbing" and had most my parts removed several years ago. Got one ovary left, just enough to keep me somewhat hormonally stable, lol!
I'm in! Thanks Phat for setting this up! I have gained back 60 lbs on the 80 lbs that I lost a year and a half ago (20 in the the last month) I got on the scale today and couldn't believe what it said so I am back and going to bring it!I think that my goal is 5 lbs by Valentine's Day!
Phat I will meet your 4 pounds and raise you 2! (I don't gamble in real life so I hope I said that right lol). I'm 177.2 so 171.2 will be my goal for valentines day. hope everyone is doing well!
