Way to go Phat! I am new to calorie counting- lost 45lbs on Ideal Protein but am finding that it is not sustainable long term. I am not feeling healthy on less than 1000 calories a day! I have MFP set for 1600 calories. Hoping that's not too much. I'm in for the valentines challenge! Would love to make it to 199 - currently at 206.

Zweezers, when I lost 80lbs. I did 1500 calories and no exercise and usually lost 2 lbs a week. I noticed that we are about the same height, not that everyone's weight loss is the same, but you should be in the right calorie range to keep loosing.Good luck breaking 200!

I stayed in calories today. 1310 and exercised for 30 minutes! I am on the right road...

Thanks for the info k15g15! I can't wait to see 199! so exciting I have lowered my calories to 1400 and if I feel hungry will eat back my exercise calories so hopefully that'll work out for me.

Good for you for exercising and staying in range - it's so tough but nice to be tall isn't it ...

Deep...of course you can join!

I had a rough week last week and my calories were all over the place. It showed this morning when I weighed in.

UP 1.8 pounds to 193.1. 180-anything is still a possibility though so I'm still going for it.

Had a pretty good day today eating wise I stayed on plan didn't quite get the full work-out I wanted but got part of one...now I have a huge headache and feel exhausted, probably a withdrawal from all of the sugar, fat, salt, and caffeine I usually indulge in! Ahh well it'll get better (right?)

Until like an hour ago.. these HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, CRUEEELLL little old ladies brought in a chocolate fountain with different fruits & cakes to DIP in the chocolate!! THOSE HOOKERS DID it on purpose! They KNEW my weakness.. okay fine maybe Im overreacting -- I did eat 2 chocolate covered strawberries, 2 chocolate covered marshmallows & 1 chocolate covered pretzel -- still under my calories for the day but STILL.. it wasnt planned! SMH .. but come on, it was a endless chocolate fountain .. It was out of my control, what's a girl to do?

Phat, if that's all you ate at a chocolate fountain I commend you! I personally would have had to refrain from stripping down and diving head first into the darn thing.

hopebewild, I know what you mean about a craving storm, it sounds like you have a good handle on it. Sometimes you just have to give in-the important thing is getting right back on track (I struggle with that) and from what you have already lost, you are obviously doing awesome!

I didn't post yesterday but I had another good eating day, I am going out to eat tonight so I need to pre-plan that and get my ample rear end into a work-out today!! I WILL work-out even if it kills me (melodramatic much?)

Here's to a great weekend for all of us!

Well, last week sucked and I went totally off of counting and ended up gaining back about 1.8 lbs of the 4.6 I had lost the week before. My MIL was in town, which is very stressful to me, ate out several times, and ended up arguing with my husband a few times about how much we had to see her and stress eating.

BUT I as of yesterday, I am back on track and if I still to it, I can still meet my Valentine's goal!

Oh TuTuPink, I totally relate with the MIL thing...mine lives 800 miles away and while I do love her 800 miles is a good distance! Ok had a good day today, we did eat at a buffet place and I by no means ate what could be considered a healthy dinner it wasn't too bad and the rest of the day I ate on target AND I worked out! Yup finally did it...and I realized I still hate it but I am going to keep with it...hope everyone has a good weekend!

I have been on target or less for calories all week BUT we went to Long John Silver's and had clams, 1 fish, and fries and blew through my 800 calories that I gave myself to eat there. Who knew? I should of checked before eating...that place must put crack in their food..it's so addictive! So off to a good start again today I hope I still show a loss on Monday

LOL, Phat!! All things considered, I think you did GREAT!

I've been sick since Thursday and have been on the couch since but am feeling much better today. Calories have been whacky but the scale is tipping down. Drinking lots of water today to hopefully keep myself flushed out by Wednesday when I officially weigh. If I can stay on track I'll definitely meet my goal of seeing something in the 180's.

Stay strong ladies!

I weighed in at 217 -7 pounds for the week. It had to be water weight or something. The max that I look a week is 2 pounds so I hope I don't up swing this next week. I have stayed in calories and have started to wear a pedometer to make myself move more.

Good Luck tomorrow on your weigh in Pot Scrubber!
