Default Depressed...

I've tried everything i can possibly think of to break this plateau but nothing has worked. Maybe i'm not being patient enough but today i stepped on the scale after a week of calorie and carb counting, no more than 20 net carbs a day and 1200 calories and ive gained 3 lbs!! I dont understand what the problem is but after over a year of attempted weightloss i just want to give up. I'm normally very optimistic but today is just awful hopefully i wake up to a better day and a better mood tomorrow!

I'd play around with your calories. You may actually have to increase them!!! I went down to 1400 from 1600, and was stuck for about a week which isn't a long time but it was frustrating. As soon as I went back up to 1600 I started losing again. It also allowed me a glass of wine with dinner which was nice!

I noticed it seems to get harder when approaching goal, and at your height your weight seems very proportionate already. I was having trouble with the last 4 lbs I lost and kind of lost focus and ate more calories and carbs and to my surprise they came off in less than a week after no changes for a couple of weeks. I know it can be frustrating and scary to increase calories but it was better than giving up for me. Best of luck

Is there a reason you're aiming for such a low weight? Maybe your body is just happy where you're at. You are at a very healthy weight as it is!

Thanks for input everyone! I had a few cheat meals so
Im hoping now that im back on plan i'll lose something!
Sparklegirl07-im aiming for such a low weight because i'm pear shaped and i dont feel like i will ever look skinny enough to myself if my thighs dont shrink some more. I currently wear a 6-8 in pants but i'm hoping for a much smaller size, i guess for vanity reasons basically :S
