Default I was doing great... WAS

seemed like the lbs were melting off. i recently moved states so thats been hectic and i have gone over my 1350 cal budget but mostly no more than 100 or so. it seems that the loss has just stopped. losing kept me motivated. now with no loss for a week to look forward to it just seems so hard to stay motivated.
ive made sure my water intake is staying up, i guess im looking for other ideas to boost loss.

(sent from my cell, for those who are bothered by my shorthand please feel free to block me

Sounds like maybe once you're settled again things may start moving. Stress can be an enemy of weight loss. I've had MANY weeks throughout these months where I've dont everything exactly "right" and the scale still hasn't moved. Just gotta keep at it and the scale will start moving again.

I agree, probably stress. One week without loss isn't that long even if you're not stressed but if you have been, well, there's your reason. You'll see the results of your work again if you keep plugging away. You're doing great!

Just remeber - the scale only tells you your weight. Weight loss is not the same thing as fat loss.

Fat loss is fairly linear but we have no way to measure it.

Water gets retained for many reasons - including stress.

Have faith in science - if you're in a caloric deficit, you're losing fat. The scale will catch up sooner or later.

Don't lose hope! I stalled out for a couple of weeks (and I didn't have the stress of a move going on) and although it was frustrating to not see an ounce lost in that time, I focused on how GOOD I felt because of my healthier habits and before long, three lbs dropped off really quickly (which is a lot for me at this point!) so just keep going!

I'm right there with you. Between the holidays and having a very hectic work schedule where I've been traveling literally every day, I'm not losing weight but I'm not gaining either. Sometimes, that's all you can do-just maintain. I'm still eating within my points (I'm doing WW) and working out when I can. Just try to not lose focus and stick with it as best you can through the crazy times. Hugs!!

With stress your body might like more cals 1-2 days? I don't know, mine did. I was getting 1195-1490 per day with exercise and major stress then took exercise out one day and ate right under 1800 and lost a pound, who knew I could? lol I don't know the best approach for you but sometimes our bodies just want a little tweaking here and there. Good luck and I hope your stress is soon gone.
