Hey Everyone...I was on the Two-teens to Onderland Thread and it seems like there are quite a few people who would like to get to Onederland by New Year's Eve. This seems like a completely doable goal but it's nice to have a challenge to help motivate us and keep us on track.
Everyone probably has a diet plan and/or exercise plan that's working for them so the challenge is as follows:
1. Stay on track with your current diet plan but challenge yourself in some way. ex) If you struggle with late-night snacking, commit to eating healthy snacks earlier.
2. If you're a runner, jogger, walker, weight-lifter...challenge yourself by adding 5-10 minutes more of exercise or adding 5 more pounds to your normal weight lifting routine.
I'd love if everyone who's interested would check in every day and talk about the actions we've taken to staying on plan but we should start by listing our personal commitments.
I'm happy with my current low-carb diet plan so I am going to make a commitment to exercise at least 4 days a week with at least 2 days of weight lifting.
Yay I'll join. I still have hope that I can make 199 by NYE. So for me, My goal is to eat healthier. I really have been doing pretty good on staying with in calories, but I've been eating not so good things.
2. I need to start exercising again. I haven't gone to the gym since I hurt my back in July (!!). my goal is to start off slow, so walking for 20-30 minutes a day around the block. I'm terrified of hurting my back again, so I don't want to commit to and cardio machines or weight lifting at this point.
I'm up for joining another challenge to keep up motivation and to keep myself accountable (which i really hate to say i haven't in the last week or two).
My eating habits for the most part are normally really good(except the last two weeks), as in no refined sugar, very little processed items (other then olive oil, coconut oil, spices...etc), no dairy and absolutely no grain.
The only problem i have is to have the motivation to exercise.
So, I commit to getting back on track to eating as clean as possible. I also commit to using my manual Elliptical machine a minimum of twice a week or more.
I can commit to 30 minutes of cardio after i get my housework done this afternoon. (were having a very rare warm day today and I have all my windows open.. seriously fantastic weather today lol)

wow the zoo was quite the workout: 2+ hours of walking! I also managed to walk around the block for another 15 minutes, so I'm going to call yesterday successful.
Today, I plan on doing a walk the mile DVD (biggest Loser DVD).

lol Were incredibly lucky that it was warm yesterday, as well as just as warm today, but tomorrow it's supposed to drop pretty low, So i think today will be the last day for any kind of warm weather lol
Although, i love walking in the cooler weather as well, so long as it's not too cold lol
