It's tough sometimes D: I hated it at first, now I'm starting to obsess over it....neither extreme is where I personally want to be.
Do you take measurements? That's something I'd rather do than step on a scale any day.
Your weight will go up and down from day to day, so I think weighing once a week is great if you can do it :] For me specifically, weighing every single day did nothing but stress me out over 1 or 2 pounds. So if it stresses you out, only do it when you have to :]
And realize if you're putting in the work, there's no reason to be scared
