Default My healthy smile journey starts today

My weight loss journey was the starting point of getting my body healthy, and now it's time for my smile. I've been putting off going to the dentist for years until now, and like my weight loss journey I'm dedicated to getting a healthy smile. I've put it off long enough and now I'm ready for the long road to begin. I have no idea how long it's going to take but I need about $4500 worth of work done. I'm not looking forward to having 3 credit cards and being in debt, but this is something that needs to be done. This is my first official appointment with my new dentist and so far I like him, so I'm really hoping it will be a better experience than previous dentists and that by the end of summer (hopefully) this journey will end and that I will become dedicated to the maintanence that it takes to keep it healthy from here on out

Congrats on taking an important step towards being healthier. Don't even think about being in debt, what matters is your health, it comes first, regardless of the costs.
I hope your journey goes well and by the end of summer you'll have the shiniest smile!

What a wonderful journey! Just thought to mention, I have a Sonicare electric toothbrush, and it has really improved my dental health... just a thought if you want to look into them now or later! (Their basic model is $110.) It's made my cleanings much faster and less painful -- way less plaque to scrape away, and my gums are in much better health. I suggested one to my dad too, who had to have gum surgery, and he's really happy with his also.

Good luck!
