Wow,I'm just getting ready to turn in for the night and found that Tues's chat has been opened. Well,I'll add a little news. We had a wicket wind storm here on the west coast of BC. Lots of trees down and branches. Driving home from work I was afraid that a branch on the road would puncture my tire. Hard to avoid them since they were all over the place. Anyway,I think I am finally back OP. Had a hard time this week with crackers! Damn! I have been reading on here and have got my MOJO back. I am so worth more then those darn cheats. Doing a fair bit of walking too. Think I'll walk to work in the am if the eind dies down. That will be 6K one way. But only doing an 8 hr shift,so its doable. Have a great day ladies and keep strong

Glad you got home safely. Now can you get rid of the crackers so that you won't be tempted? That's easy for me to say...I live alone and was able to eliminate anything and everything that was off plan. But I know that is not easy for people with families.

Happy Tuesday everyone! May was it hard waking up this morning. My alarm went off and I couldn't crawl out of bed...ask DH to reset for another 1/2 hour of sleep. I wish it would've been longer! This Daylight Savings is not saving me anything! Just waiting for me coffee to kick in!

Have a great OP day everyone!

Had my first week weigh-in and I've lost 5.6 lbs. It's just wonderful I already feel better and I'm psyched for this week.

My hubby is following the diet in that I'm not cooking separate meals for him. He's still snacking and drinking beer and he's lost 5 pounds - go figure!

Default Weigh In #17

Goooooooood Morning IPeeps:

Today is weigh in # 17 and another 3 pounds have bit the dust!!!!!!
I was a little worried about it because this week-end I was way off schedule with my eating, but I did stay OP the whole time.

Congratulations on all the losses so far and good luck to those who still have to weigh in.

to everyone!

I'm with ya Tripmama!

Good morning all! I had a great dinner last night. The weather was so nice that I decided to grill a chicken breast on the grill using some honey bbq sauce from walden farms. YUM!

Great losses all!

Morning!
Great loses already!!! Well, I went out to dinner last night, sort of. My friend organized a few couples to grab dinner at a local bbq place-I was nervous and looked over the menu several times online and then made the decision to eat at home! Haha, I don't really care what anyone thought, I am in the zone and nothing is going to stop me!!! I drank coffee and water and enjoyed the convo! My friends get it to and respect me, so, I felt great!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning all,
I did my weigh in this morning and I'm up 2 pounds. Disappointing but I have never lost 15 pounds in 4 weeks, so to be up 2 in week 5 is OK, just strengthens my resolve.

Also am going to pick up a tip from these boards - to have mini goals. So need to pull that together.

Am leaving for a business trip and will also be seeing friends - so will be eating out and lots of temptation everywhere. Plus a tad hard to get all the water in but it's a short trip.

Heard on these boards that weeks 5-7 are among the hardest - the glow of the first 4 is over...glad to know that, it also strengthens my determination.

Thanks to all for your daily upbeat comments to each other. They are so helpful!

Have a great OP day everyone!

Good morning everyone. My day just isn't started until I log onto 3FC and check in with my "fat chick" friends. Congrats to those with successful WI's this week and good luck to everyone else. I have been one of those every day weighers and Saturday I asked my husband to hide the scale from me and only let me have it on Saturday mornings. I know the success of IP is more than the number on the scale because I'm having to buy new clothes! Even my feet lost weight and I bought smaller shoes! Whodda thunk it? LOL

Have a great day everyone.
