Hello everyone, I'm new here and have so much to say so you all can get to know me. Please forgive me if it gets lengthy, I'll try to keep it brief hehe.

I'll go by Luna if you girls don't mind. I'm ashamed of my weight and embarrassed of someone I know discovering my plead for help, I guess. I feel so lame being this fat. :/ I love who I am and know I'm gorgeous, but my weight makes me feel otherwise. I can't wait to be active and healthy and feel fabulous and confident all the time...I wanna shine!

My heaviest weight was 202 lbs about 5 months ago, which I've kept pretty secret aside from one best friend. My boyfriend and I call 200 "passing the threshold" lol, he thinks my heaviest has been 197! : X

I want a lifestyle change. I love working out but have problems getting in the zone. I hate working out alone and have no workout or diet buddies..boo. I tried the herbalife shakes for a month and did lots of walking, in 2 months I lost 20lbs but gained it back. I recently got some phentermine pills, lost 5lbs in a week but quit taking them, I hate the side affects!

Goodness. Such a difficult time keeping weight off. I joined this forum for support. I think I can do it with others on the same journey. I love the inspiration I find here. I shall start my journey today. Counting calories can be fun.

Wish me luck... Also, I can't wait to have a ticker!

Hey welcome to 3FC

Have you tried group fitness classes? I really enjoy them and have sort of built a little family at the gym I go to. I've been going there for YEARS so when I started losing weight in May they were all very supportive!

Check out the different forums for different diet plans, but make sure to choose something you can stick with for the rest of your life

Hi Luna

I am in the same boat with no workout/diet buddies. My fiance weighs 160 soaking wet, so he doesnt really get it, tho he tries really hard to be supportive. I have decided for now to do a food journal, and count calories. I don't stick to diets well, so I think this will work for now, until I can get used to eating healthy (and quitting PEPSI). I am going to join a gym so I can swim and do Zumba classes, but I think I should just start out walking everyday. Hopefully I will see you on here and be able to check in. This seems like a good place for support from people who GET it. Good luck

Thanks guys, I love it here already. About fitness classes..I'm too embarrassed! Also, I'm only 20 and saving up to move out on my own soon..I don't know how old you guys are but financially, I'm still a kid lol. Which also makes eating out so easy and fun during those outings with friends after a late night of boozing lol. And like you Des, my boyfriend is just the same...weighs about 175-178lbs but he's a bit over 6ft so he's so thin! Lol. Making things tougher, he likes my cheeks being soft and says I'm more fun to cuddle with...but I miss feeling sexy! (@160 I had some meat on me, but I knew how to work it haha). Hoping to post a before pic soon so I can be fired up to work on that after!
