Just wanted to send you some I can understand turning to food for comfort. Try not to beat yourself up about it. What's done is done. Drink lots of water and get back on plan. Ask yourself how you could have handled that disappointment better and see if you can do better the next time things don't go as hoped.

So sorry....Instead of feeling bad, make an eating battle plan for the next time you hit a rough patch. Here's the good part...You recognize the problem and want to turn it around. I remember when I recognized the problem and just kept going.

BIG HUGS for you. I know the perfect job will be coming your way

thank y'all! i'm trying my hardest to get back on track. i'm just so frustrated with alot of things lately. i'm a stay at home mom and i've been trying to get a job for a good 3 almost 4 yrs now. been turned down every single time i apply. i'm losing hope..... i made cookies because i like to bake, but i also like to eat them fresh out of the oven.... ive been off track for about a week now and my digestive track is mad at me for it. i lose 50 lbs and how do i reward myself? by eating like a mad woman =/ I HAVE TO CORRECT MYSELF AND GET PAST THE PROBLEM. also need to stop looking to food for comfort.... lol i need a hobby.... i want to start exercising but the dang gyms treadmills ALL OF THEM have been broken for a while now. i cant really exercise during the day cause my husband works and they dont allow children in the gym. up until now i havent really had to exercise but now im finding that i have to. any advice?

Sorry to hear about your job disappointment. And it's so frustrating when we slip up.

We've all had our share of slip-ups; it's the ability to get back on track that sets the winners apart. Losing weight successfully is largely about not letting setbacks totally derail you. In the scheme of things, the cookie blip won't matter at all, if you don't let it. You are taking the right first step to getting back on track by coming here for support.

In regards to the job situation, is there any possibility that you could create one instead of finding one? Would it be possible to work with your gym (or possibly some other gym) to create a daycare area? Or maybe they need some sort of equipment manager (if they let all their treadmills stay broken). Maybe there is a market in your area for delivery of healthy home-cooked meals? Think about services that you yourself need or would find appealing and how you can meet those needs.

Good luck, both with your diet and with your search!

the gym is owned by my apts and frankly they suck at maintenance. lol i cannot drive (have a fear of driving from being ran over when i was little) i have tried to offer helping the apts before and they said no they have someone on it (which is why the pool has been opened ONCE the entire 4 yrs ive lived here *rolls eyes*) i have a few dvds but i get really bored with them. i want so many dvds that look like they would work but my husband is the only one that works and we dont get much fun money to buy things. hopefully in January we will move to where my sister is and i will be able to work there. i applied at the hospital there as ER tech so hopefully i get a call back sometime this week
