I started out eating 1600 - 1800 calories per day with no exercize.
But I do a lot of gardening, which can be very strenuous.
After I lost the first 20 pounds...it took five months... I dropped the calories down to 1500-1700 calories per day.
I have lost a total of 23 pounds since June 2010.
That is about 1 pound per week.
If you start out at 1500 calories per day, you will lose more than a pound per week. Maybe 2 pounds.
