I admit Ketosis looks so sexy and yet feels like crap like a hangover after spring break
I'm just wrapping my brain around it all at this point
my take: we haven't gone through ALL THIS to feel like crap. so figure out what works for you - and don't pay attention to the 'labels'. you know that whole foods work for you, and protein. and not crackers. even whole grain crackers.
so it doesn't really matter if it's atkins -ish or south beach-ish - it's KIER'S PATH TO SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS. and that's all that matters.
I say check out the low carb board for recipes and idea's... I remember years ago doing atkins and boy did I feel great, even my joints. Its just a very difficult diet (((for me))) to stick to. We ate so healthy, lean meats, lots of good veggies and foods that didn't contain a lot of crap (chemicals, etc).
I agree with jiffy, do what works for you. Doesn't matter what you call it
My worst trigger food is rice, one bite and My sanity runs out the door. so I try to avoid it. I am a pretty big fan of cheese and roast beef as a snack.
