Question No motivation

So i started "dieting" june 1st, ive lost about 24 lbs and cant seem to get it back together to keep going. ive jsut been maintaining. i havent been to the gym in like 3 weeks. Sucks. and i cant seem to continue counting calories. I get lazy and dont want to count, mind u i use livestrong.com and couldnt be easier. Does anyone feel like this or felt like this? I need to push through.

I KNOW EXACTLY how you feel! I started June 20th and have lost 22 pounds. It was really pretty easy and all went well. But now for the last 3 weeks I have stayed right about the same (up a little one week, down a little the next, and back to where I was the next). I hurt my hip a few weeks back and it impacted the little exercise I was doing but last week I just got really down and began to wonder if I can do this.
So today I have decided to get back on track. I am tracking everything again as the day goes so I can stay on top of it (like you said how much easier can livestrong be?). I have to do this and I know I CAN do it! I just can't give up. This is a long journey and I have finally been able to remember that there will be ups and downs but as long as I stick to it, the scale will eventually move in the right direction.
Hang in there. Soemtimes we "just have to do it" even when we don't feel like it. Someone on these boards said, "it is hard to be fat and it is hard to lose weight so which 'hard' are you going to chose today?" I hope you choose to lose weight right along with me!

I have hosted three parties in three weekends... And spent all of labor day weekend drinking beer and eating goodies! Today is my day to "get back on the wagon". I have to get back to limiting my drinking, eating healthy AND going to the gym... I keep thinking about how much it is going to hurt this afternoon to try to run on the treadmill. But if I do it today, then tomorrow will be a little easier.

I also packed myself an extra snack for today at work. I knew it would be hard, so I thought a little something extra would help me keep it in control, but also help me ease back into the healthy eating without making it torture.

I just sort of have to do it. Just eat my veggies. Just go to the gym. Just do it. And just focus on today. I can wait until tomorrow to think about tomorrow.
