Default Tuesday Twitterings

It's a misty morning (aka raining) and there is very little twittering going on outside. Maybe later when the birds and we chicks wake up. In the meantime, the coffee is hot so come and chat.

Yesterday was a bit of a wash-out as Paul hurt his back and didn't get here. I sort of moped around as I'm still not feeling "en forme" and decided to opt out of the BD dinner since I was still coughing. I did get another baby quilt planned and started so all was not lost.

Today will be better.

How does your day look?

Good morning Ruth, I'm sorry to hear that you're still coughing, glad to know that you took it easy yesterday though. I hope Paul's back feels better quickly!

It's going to be a wet, dreary day here today. I hope I'll be able to stay awake! I'm slow getting started this morning, but I'm thinking I'll feel better once I have my tea and oatmeal. I'm hoping for a quiet, uneventful day here.

Enjoy your Tuesday friends!

Coffee! Rain here again today, and it's cold and windy to boot.

Ruth, here I was thinking you were about over your cold. I hope it's gone soon, and hope Paul's back heals quickly, too. Planning a new quilt sounds like a pleasant way to spend the day. Do you know the sex of the baby yet?

Nothing exciting is happening here. Just waiting for the sun to come out from behind the clouds.

Good morning, Heidi! Looks like we're all having rain this week.

Good morning Drippy and gray here too but the garden really needed it and it's not the weekend so I'll roll with it.

Ruth - Hope today is brighter with 100% less coughing

Heidi - I bet those kids will make sure you stay awake

Cottage - I'm not even going to tell you what our forecast for tomorrow says because everyone will just be depressed. I bet it's wrong!

Another long day today, though not as much fun. Why does my body think the best way to deal with a few long days is to be awake in the middle of the night? Maybe it's trying to help me find more hours in the day?!

I'm off for another injection this morning then have an afternoon and evening of meetings. Tomorrow everything quiets down again and I'll have a few flex hours for the week. With the warblers coming in soon I'm sure I'll use them (we need a bird smiley!)

Happy, uneventful Tuesday

Yup, rainy here today too. Not much going on. In terms of my April goal to deal with the photos, I have one last task which is to migrate my photos into just one sharing site and order one last photo book from one of the sites I won't be using anymore. My boss is out on Friday so I'll likely do it during the day at work (ahem). I don't expect it will take me more than a couple of hours. Then, I'm all done!

May 1 I'm starting Beck with KO as a buddy and May is also going to be the month I get my blog started. Making these monthly goals for myself seems to be working.

Hope everyone has a great day...

Good morning -

Ruth - HUSH

Everyone - have a great day, may we all get just a wee bit of sunshine today!

me - I guess I should be grateful I got the day off yesterday (thank goodness for salary!), today is a long day. I did get our bedroom painted yesterday, it looks great!! Now, I'm inspired to get new bedding, but we'll see how the budget goes.

Have a great beachy day ladies!

I'm sure you're right about that!

My forecast is the same as yours. I didn't believe Fergie when he told me yesterday, but that's all Kevin Mannix can talk about this morning. He's even warning of "possible school delays" in the morning for my neck of the woods.... The good news is it never lasts long this time of year!

Twynn, I've been trying to get my bedroom painted for the past 2 years. First though, I need to strip the wallpaper that Jake never wanted in the first place. Want to come for a strip and paint party?

Mmc, that must be a great feeling of accomplishment with getting all your photos in order!

Cyndi, I hope today's injection is as easy as the last one was! Ruth already mentioned that 4-letter word, but you all can just keep it up there all for yourselves, OK?

Heidi, what can I say, except that I hope it doesn't hang around long!

Ruth, I guess all you can do at this point is plug in the tree, throw a log on the fire, and crank up the Christmas music. Should I bring the hot chocolate and marshmallows?

I was literally laughing out loud and my husband asked me what is so funny. You gals really had me cracking up this morning and I love how coming here always makes my days start on a happy note

I decided I a cannot make that snack cake again! I ate two pieces out of the freezer last night. After two servings of those darn Triscuits (that are still living in my car but I went out and got them). I threw the rest of both away! And I did it all while watching TV - major trigger. Sigh. I guess I need a few days of no grains again to get myself back on track. Onward.

I don't mean to rub it in, BUT, the SUN is shining here and I only see a few clouds in the sky!

I just went out to have a quick check on the garden, and my carrots are up!

Tammie- we're earth tone kinda people, it's a moderate brown. It looks lovely with the sun in the windows .

I'm heading up to Ruth's for hot chocolate and marshmellows! Be there in a few!
