Help me stay consistent
Hello:
I have lost and gained the same 15 or 20 pounds. I am tired of dieting. I want to lose the 20 pounds goal that I have set for myself and keep it off.
I was a pudgy kid and my parents did not like that I was fat. I vowed to lose the weight and I did in law school. Only to gain it back after graduating.
Then I lost it again when I started weight training and exercising. But then I gave myself the excuse to eat as much as I wanted because I was exercising.
Fast forward a few years and these pounds are still on me.
I will not try a quick and easy diet this time. The last time I tried Isogenix, I was so hungry that I gained the weight back and more.
I need help staying consistent and vigilant about what I eat. I have the exercise portion down (weight train three days a week, an hour of cardio a day, and a walk during lunch 5 days a week), but the eating.....I love food. I am an emotional eater. I joined this forum because I read that posts and they were so inspirational. Writing this is helping me from binging.
