Firm Videos

  • I have been doing the wave series over the last couple of weeks. I like the wave okay for some things, but I am sort of klutzy and there are times I really miss my old fanny lifter (which I still have). I have several firm videos on vhs that are stored and I never use them, because obviously it is so much nicer on dvd. Are there any videos that are similar to the firm body sculpting system on dvd? I can't seem to find an exact replica of what I have on vhs tape on dvd. I KNOW those videos worked!
  • You can order some of the older DVDs directly from the Firm website. I believe they have all except maybe 1 or 2 of their older videos on DVD. What are the names of the ones you have on VHS that you like?

Also, I heard Jari Love is pretty good.
  • They have the BBS1 system all on one DVD (pretty sure). Look on Amazon - they tend to be less expensive on there.
  • Try looking at your local Marshalls, TJ Max, and Ross and see if they have any there. I recently bought Upper Body Sculpt at TJ Maxx for $2.99.
  • I was reading on one of my other favorite forums, videofitness.com, and it's posted that K-mart has BSS2 for $7.99. You might check that out, too. Here's a link to VF if anyone is interested. It's a great site for info on working out with videos. http://forum.videofitness.com/
  • You can also transfer your vcr tapes over to dvd for a low cost gismo that hooks up to your computer and vcr then you can transfer you old home movies favorite workouts ect. thats what I did with all mine and they work GREAT!
  • I have the same problem! I LOVE my Firm Fanny Lifter but all my videos are also on VHS! We had a minor flood in our basement last year where I keep my work out videos and they didn't fare too well I recently bought the Wave system from a friend and while I do enjoy it and seem to get a good workout, it pales in comparison to the Fanny Lifter, in my opinion anyway.
  • I just bought me a Fannie Lifter. I used to do my Firm workouts on a regular step. I workout in my office, (I'm self-employed) so I don't have a lot of space. I really like the Fanny Lifter. I can't believe I didn't buy one before.
  • Hi I am new here, but you can get The old Firms on dvd now.
  • I double checked and it appears that they are 9.99 at FirmDirect.com. I know I bought Volume 1 there.
  • I'm a Firm fan too and have the same problem with old Firm workouts on VHS. I'm working on slowly replacing them. I usually buy from collagevideos. I have the Wave, but really don't like it all that much. Too gimmicky. Right now, I'm LOVING Firm's Total Body Time Crunch. I've been rotating that one and Ellen Barrett's Fat Burning Fusion. TBTC is typical old school Firm combining cardio intervals with strength using light weights.
