Just started keeping up with foods I eat on fit day. I am doing okay calorie wise but.....I am worried about the amount of fat! Should I worry? I know that on the SB you really don't worry so much about fat but I wanted to be sure and keep my calories in check. I am thinking the 30 g a day thing and yesterday (first full day of fit day food log) I was over 30g of fat.
When I started logging my stuff in fitday I was freaked out by the percentage of fat that was making up my food, but I realized that I wasn't eating hardly any carbohydrates on Phase 1, so of course the percentage of fat was going to be higher because the percentage of carbs was so low.
30g of fat is pretty low! I think the mypyramid people say 65g is normal for a 2,000 calorie diet. You're not eating 1,000 calories right? Try not to worry. I think the intelligence behind SBD is that the "low fat, high carb" approach just does not work.
