Default How do you sweat?

What do you do to workout? I really like playing sports, it's fun and I have a very competitive nature. I've been playing a lot of raquetball lately. I definately reccomend it. One of my goals is to work this year on getting in shape to signup for inturmural girls flag football in the fall and by next summer compete in a triathalon.

My favorite workout is Taekwondo Its such a personal sport and I'm mostly competing with myself which I love. It also helps me get out all my frustration! I'm also really starting to love to run...its so empowering! When I was 20 I had a breast reduction going from an F to a C cup. Before I couldnt run because it hurt so bad so its been awesome to finally be able to

Well, my workouts are pretty much taken care of for me. I'm on my college's rowing team and we have practice 20 hours a week; however, whenever one of those workouts is "your choice", I choose spin because I loooooove it.

Ive been thinking about getting into spinning. I love the elliptical, you burn so many calories and it is low impact!

I love to run - outdoors preferably, I will run around my suburb and the lakes and also enjoy a good run up and around the mountain.

Gym also rates highly on my agenda, I do spin classes 3 - 4 times a week and I also treadmill run and use the rower.

Weights! 3 times a week there abouts, love it!

And dragon boating/paddling - we have 3 water sessions a week at about 1.5-2 hours each and one or two land sessions (like a bootcamp arrangement)

Oh, and I friend has decided she needs company whilst learning latin dancing, so I'll be doing that as well.

Variety is the spice of my life!

-C25K 3 days a week
-weight training at the gym 2-3 days a week
-walking up Stone Mountain (large granite monolith that isn't actually a mountain) when the weather is nice
-Dancing in my apartment (blinds closed!!!)
-And sometimes the recumbent bike or elliptical, but I find them both boring

I kinda want to try a spin class but those seats hurt so bad. I've heard a cushion or folded up towel helps, but I just feel like it wouldn't be enough (I have a sensitive bum).

Oh, and I've got a belly dancing DVD on hold at the library... we'll see how that goes.

I have been an elliptical whore lately. So many calories burnt in a short amount of time! I also love to do weightlifting to increase my strength. Though I have to say the Step and Sculpt class I went to Monday night made me sweat like none other!

Anything!! I need to start running again, and YES....the weather is my excuse. But I also love doing anything outdoors, aerobics, pilates.....when it comes to exercise, I don't really discriminate. My only problem now is doing it long and hard enough to really see a difference in my body....

I go to a cardio-kickboxing class, usually 2x a week.

I lift weights at home 2x week. (I have dumbbells ranging from 5 lbs to 45 lbs... ok, the 45's are my husband's for now. )

The rest of my workouts are cardio at the gym.. usually 1/2 hour on the elliptical and the other 1/2 hour on the treadmill, stationary bike, or stair stepper. If I can't make it to the gym, I have a variety of workout DVDs, or I do something on the "Exercise TV on demand" channel.

Aclai - your bum toughens up! Spin is awesome fun (did a class tonight). It really increases your fitness very rapidly, I highly recommend it.

The first few times yes, your arse will hurt A LOT and then you get used to it. You just have to get over that initial discomfort.

Try it!

I LOVE jogging outdoors with some good music to power you.

Summers I bike to get around, though I'd prefer not to sweat while doing it, since I usually need to look okay when I get there.

Due to winter, I've been trying some fitness videos. It's definitely effective, though I wouldn't say I love it.

When I reach goal, I'd like to commit to a martial art. I was thinking of Aikido, not for its intensity, but its practical use...

I was actaully considering going to a 6 am spin class but I didn't fall asleep last night untill close to 2 am. So I slept in. I would like to try one though, I'm afraid my fitness is not up to par just yet.
