Default Scale accuracy

I used to weigh in using the digital scale at work. I never felt like it was accurate because its old and tons of people use it every day. I bought myself a decent scale a few weeks ago (also digital) and it's about 4-5 lbs lower than the one at work. We have another office with yet another digital scale and that one gives me yet another number. How do I know my "real" weight or should I just not worry about it and just track if I'm up or down?? It's driving me crazy!!!

Yeah every scale will be slightly different- specially if they aren't calibrated routinely.

I'd stick with one.

I agree, stick with one scale. You'll drive yourself nuts trying to compare them!

Yup. stick with one scale. It is worth one morning getting on and off the scale several times to assure that it is repeatable. I used to have one that would flip all over the place. (One day, just to test the scale. Beyond that is just scale madness)

I only use one as well, just a cheap digital one. I just found my diary from 10 years ago when I used to work at a factory (summer job) and it was pretty funny to read a bit where I was talking about my weight, it said something like "today I weighed myself on the pallet scale and probably I weigh 138lb, because I reckon my steel cap safety shoes and clothes must weigh around 5lb". I did consistently use only that pallet scale though and lost about 6lb through manual labour

I did this in the beginning. Drove myself around the bend! Between a couple of different scales, I could convince myself I'd lost like 7 lbs in one week

I got a digital scale. I keep it on the same tile on the bathroom floor. I get out of bed, void and step on. Just once! And that is my official weight for the day.
