Default New Couch to 5K Week 6

On to Week 6 on the new Couch to 5K program I did Day 1 yesterday and am trying to increase my speed a bit. At this rate I will have the time down but won't have the distance. I plan to gradually increase my speed and will eventually get to the actual 5K distance

Anyone else still with me??

Hi All,

I'm still here, but just now starting week 5. I got the flu last week and it threw me off a bit, but I'm going to try to jump back on where I left off and see how it goes. I'll do W5D1 tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes.

I was scared for day 3 too! It wasn't too bad. 20 minutes was a long time but I made it

Just finished W5D1 and it was tough. I guess taking a week off really put me behind. I may just repeat day 1 again before moving on. I'm already off track so I don't guess it will hurt to restart slowly. I can't imagine doing a 20 minute run in the next couple of days.

Great job Karen for getting to week 6! I wish I was there with you, but I will try to catch up.

Jamie Jo- Can you tell us about your HIIT program?

Whew I got week 6 day 2 done yesterday morning. Good work to the rest of us - just keep pluggin along and we'll get through the program! I am still not doing the distance they say but am doing the time. I'll build up my speed and distance over time.
