New Couch to 5K Week 6

  • On to Week 6 on the new Couch to 5K program I did Day 1 yesterday and am trying to increase my speed a bit. At this rate I will have the time down but won't have the distance. I plan to gradually increase my speed and will eventually get to the actual 5K distance

    Anyone else still with me??

    I'm still here, but just now starting week 5. I got the flu last week and it threw me off a bit, but I'm going to try to jump back on where I left off and see how it goes. I'll do W5D1 tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes.

    I was scared for day 3 too! It wasn't too bad. 20 minutes was a long time but I made it
  • Just finished W5D1 and it was tough. I guess taking a week off really put me behind. I may just repeat day 1 again before moving on. I'm already off track so I don't guess it will hurt to restart slowly. I can't imagine doing a 20 minute run in the next couple of days.

    Great job Karen for getting to week 6! I wish I was there with you, but I will try to catch up.

    Jamie Jo- Can you tell us about your HIIT program?
  • Whew I got week 6 day 2 done yesterday morning. Good work to the rest of us - just keep pluggin along and we'll get through the program! I am still not doing the distance they say but am doing the time. I'll build up my speed and distance over time.
  • Week 6 Day 3 complete!! WHEW! That was a LONG 25 minutes!!
