Default WW Rant/Cookbook Info

I know, that's a random title.

I'm kind of frustrated with the lack of core materials from WW. I know I don't go to meetings, and so probably miss out on some stuff, but whenever I go to buy WW material there is nothing (or very little) core info. I got the WW New Complete Cookbook (or something like that) for Christmas thinking they would have updated it to include core recipes, or at least gone through and marked those that were core. Nope. Saw a new WW Five Ingredient 15 Minute recipe--none marked core. I know that the majority of people who are involved with WW do Flex, but why isn't there more for core?

OK, I think I'm done.

So anyway, is the Turnaround Cookbook the only one with core recipes? (sorry, I think I may have asked this before)

I don't have a great answer, Melissa, just the same questions. I guess it's because more of their business comes from Flex?

The Slow Good cookbook has some good Core recipes. I agree with you though Melissa - if my mom and I didn't speak up in meetings, I don't think Core would get mentioned much, if at all.

There is the TurnAround Cookbook and now my center has the second Turn Around edition for WW's which is also all Core and has the points there for Flex members.
Something that I do is to take Rachel Ray's wonderful cookbooks and adapt them to Core. And another thing is this: flour in a recipe for sauces is needed in a small amount. When I divide it up, it becomes a zero point food.
Having sauces on veggies or meat helps a lot.
Good luck in your quest and keep on keepin' on.
