Breakfast: well I think there is one leftover slice of french toast in the fridge which I might have w/decaf coffee.
Snack: 1 orange
Lunch: Probably soup?
dinner; - who cares? Some leftover chicken in fridge - I think I have a roast in downstairs fridge not sure if I am up to making it. Might just stop at grocery store on the way back from therapist appt and pick something up (frozen pizzas - for the kids, and fresh strawberries on sale!).
I hate staying home cuz I'm sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning!
I think I have stayed the same for the last two weeks, so this time I am really going to track my food and my pts. Gotta go shopping today for more veges.

Okay guys scrutinize these menus for me for the next week, lets see where I might be going wrong.
B - large bowl oatmeal with half banana and tsp. p. butter (pt) - coffee
S - bowl of 15 grapes
L - one and half cups of beef/barley soup, half cup ff sf jello, more grapes (maybe 20)
coffee
D - chicken stir fry with not very much chicken in it.
S - small half cup of pudding and a piece of fruit.
At least 7 glasses of water in the day and maybe tea in addition.
Kally, good news is that your quantities don't seem bad! But.....there is always a but.....I think you are light on your veggies. You're getting 3 1/2 fruits (which I think is kind of alot) and not much veggies that I can see besides what is in the stir fry. I'd have a salad with dinner and skip one of the fruits. I also only see 1/2 serving of milk and you need two every day. Are you getting your 2 teaspoons of healthy oil every day.
What about the hated word after water.....exercise. Are you getting any? If you are close to your goal this may be one of the only ways to get there.
thanks
lots of exercise and lots of water.
Will hold down the fruit, but the soup is homemade and FULL of vegetables. I will up that some more.
I get yogurt in the morning, but maybe I had better add milk or yogurt at night.
Thanks for your ideas. Anyone else?
i don't have my book with me........but, can you have oatmeal, barley and rice all in the same day? i'm with vickie, if i am at a standstill, i have more veggies then fruit just because of the sugar in the fruit!
I'm pretty sure you can have rice or potatoes in one day and you can have hot cereal too. Barley is another grain and I think that is okay too. Perhaps, though, it is too much for me.

Instead of pudding for dinner dessert I had a piece of that crustless pumpkin pie that is core. Very good, a bit of egg and milk and a milky coffee.
Kally, WONDERFUL! Doncha just LOVE that crustless pumpkin pie? By the way, potatoes/rice/pasta are restricted to once a day. You may still have any of the other starches in the same day (barley, oatmeal, polenta, etc). Woo Hoo! Gotta love this plan.
