I just realized that I broke the rule of ground meat only once a day. Oh Well. Too late now.

Vickie, as lean as the ground beef is on Core, I really don't think it should make that much of a difference. It's got much less fat than dark meat chicken or turkey, I would think, and there's no restriction on that. Your menu sounds delicious, by the way!

I really don't know what in the world I'm in the mood for today. Still feeling an urge to eat but am managing ... just barely ... to stay in control.

B: Egg beaters/egg and Canadian bacon
Grapes
Diet V8 Splash
S: SF/FF yogurt w/lemon powder
L: McD's grilled chicken caesar salad (points)
S: Ryvita crackers w/LF Laughing Cow cheese (points)
Applesauce
D: Lean steak
Baked sweet potato
green beans
salad
S: FF/SF pudding
sliced strawberries

Default Tuesday's Tummy Fillings

Here goes:

Breakfast:
1 packet plain instant oatmeal
decaf w/lite cream

Lunch:
YUMMY LEFTOVERS: piece of roast chicken, some brocolli, some pan fried potatoes (first baked them in microwave then sliced w/skin on and sauteed w/onions and olive and spices), and ACORN SQUASH (did I mention how yummy the squash is? ) - I pierce it and microwave around 10-12 mins (depending on size), then slice in quarters, scoop out seeds, and put some butter, cinammon and brown sugar on them (maybe 1 tsp for all 4 slices)..then run under the broiler for a couple of minutes - so delish!

Snack:
apple
yogurt

Dinner:
not sure- probably leftover stir-fry
or if not in the mood maybe some of my barley bean tomato soup and as a SPECIAL TREAT a toasted bagel - ohmygod I'm drooling already!

Wait, wait... Kathy didn't drink her Coke? Congratulations!!!

Dh is going out for spaghetti, garlic bread, and a big deli-type sandwich thing tonight, but I am not even tempted. I'm actually craving my barley and chicken in the fridge. This Core thing, what does it do to us???

Hehehe! Can you believe it? I was shocked at myself!

I have my week's worth of menus planned for lunch and dinner so that I can stay on track. I just absolutely have to do it; there's no need to continue messing around.

I'm struggling too a bit, Kathy. I just planned my menus through Sunday. I haven't been wanting to cook and that is danger for me. I haven't been on the scale because I'm afraid of what it will say. With 125 pounds to go, I cannot afford to quit or rest on my laurels (or my big butt!).

Oh and I was up 2 pounds this morning, so I changed my tracker. I will also stay off of the scale until NEXT Tuesday -- how on earth I'll manage it beyond me. Maybe I'll have to get one of the other family members to hide it from me for a week!

Wow!! Kathy and Angela, y'all have some major discipline! Way to go, both of you on your "hard core" day today. Vickie, I'm sorry you're struggling but if you've planned your menus through the weekend, I think it sounds as though you are right back on track. I'm proud of all of you!

It's the ALIENS - it's them they're here.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE W/KATHY??? Bring her back - right now! or else you'll have me to deal with! Making her dump her coke like that! ha ha ha

Now I am also "possessed" but with the weird eating bug. My dinner consisted of: tortilla chips w/fresh salsa (about 6 points worth of chips), then a tim horton's decaf w/cream and a special k bar (while waiting for dd in dance class), then some cottage cheese w/fruit when I got home.

I am not hungry (is that a bad sign?)...but I don't feel bloated either. I did actually EXERCISE (see support board for the gory details) which is amazing in itself...Hey maybe the ALIENS have gotten to me too???? help.....
