I lost about 10 pounds immediately when I started core. It was probably within the first 2-3 weeks.

Since then I've maintained and have basically stuck to it. I'm very near to my overall goal and so I allow a whole lot of cheating.

Hi Andrea! I started back at WW and on Core the middle of September 2004. I've lost 22.2 pounds. I love Core and would never consider doing Flex again. I made horrible choices on Flex. Core keeps me on the straight and narrow.

If you decide to follow Core, then come see us on the Core support board. We are a small and very nice group of people!

Andrea, so it looks like you've been on the board for a while. What have you been doing in the past? I mean ... Atkins, WW flex, South Beach, etc. Just curious.

You will really, really like the flexibility of core because you don't have to write anything down if you don't want to. As long as you stick to the basic list and eat until satisfied, you'll lose weight!

I make recipes to keep variety. If I had to eat plain chicken/beef/pork every night with a plain baked potato, I'd never be successful. I love the www.barbosdietkitchen website. Search on Core and you'll have hundreds of recipes to choose from!

Oh, sorry--I've lost 82 altogether with about 10 of them on core. I started core right after WW came out with it. I was in a slump on flex, and changing to core helped.
