Cornbread Update
Ok. I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I used the recipe builder on WW online (kinda neat feature by the way) and my Core Cornbread made w/applesauce instead of oil comes out to 3 pts. for a wedge (I use a cast iron skillet and cut it into 8 pie wedges). That's a lot better than the packaged cornbread I used to cook. If you cooked it in a square pan and cut it into 16 squares it would only be 1.5 pts.
I had a very light eating day today (not feeling well) so I will let it count in my daily Core allowance (since I do not use flour in the recipe). Supper was navy beans/turnip greens/cornbread. If I had had a heavy breakfast and lunch, I probably would use flex points.
