Default Mind one more word on this?

Hi Gals,
Sorry I didnt see this earlier but someone brought it to my attention.

I am a Leader and just looked in the week 3 activity book for Turnaround. Most of you would not have it yet because next week is week#3.

On page 13 of that book when you receive it has a **** at the bottom of the page that states:
"Activity points values swapped for food should be used the same day they are earned."

So there it is.............you can read it next week if you get the current material.

No more banking of any.period....thats easy to remember.right?

Thanks for listening ( again )
Cin

PS I was surprised how few of my members tried Core last week! I lead 5 meetings a week and it shocked me to tell you the truth!

Hi Ladies

Hey Jaymi, I'm trying to get my head around this plan too your math is right but is'nt the 35pts to last for 7 days so in fact its 5pts per day so that would have meant you have 12pts (7+5) to "eat" not 38pts, unless you want to have them all at once and have none left for the week

I would have thought that you could "bank" the pts too for the weekend or a special occasion..pity they don't do that I might go to a meeting to make sure I know what i'm doing

Cin,

I just got back from my meeting and only a couple of people tried Core, but they were successful. That inspired more of us to try it this week!

Hey Cathy, I reason I had got 38 for that day is because I exercised for 60 minutes. If you use that calculator that adds up to 7 pts. So.. since I can't bank them.. that's fine! I wish I could... because I just blew them all.. or most of them.. But let me know if you understood what the heck I just said! LOL

Ok, you use the activity points calculator.. it asks you what your weight is.. if your workout was low, moderate, or high, and for how long. If anyone wants it.. I think (if I'ts ok with Spryng) I can PM the link to you for you to download. And.. thanks for the compliments for my signature! For once I'm not getting complaints!

I never really worried about activity points because I know I can't lose without exercise and if I eat those points then I probably wouldn't lose. So I guess I won't bother with figuring them anymore even though it was fun using the on-line calculator.

Lisa, the counter on line will figure it for you if you put the activity in, the rate (low, moderate, intense) and the time you exercised. They used to have an activity cardboard thingy like the points calculator but don't know if they still do. Anyone with the program material to answer her question?

All my material is at work so I'm no help there.

But I also don't worry about activity points because, although I'm at a desk all week, I am a waitress on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 5 until around 11 ... and walk my tushie off the whole time! Plus when the place closes, we have to sweep and mop it all. I keep telling my boss, the owner, that I should be paying her at least $35 a month for my health club dues!

Default Lisa

Lisa
On week 3 WW gives you a slide similar to a Points Finder but it is called a Points Booster.

Based on your intensity level, amount of time exercised AND your weight..it determines how many points you have earned for activity.

I have one here at home but it does require your weight........which is personal...even you PM me with your weight and tell me whether you exercise light, moderate or high intensity. ( and how many minutes)I will gladly tell you how many points you are earning.

Yeh I understood what you said Jaymi I was just wondering if you'd used up the whole 38pts

How many pts would I 'earn' if I walk at 3mls per hour for an hour? weighing..168lbs and roughly how many pts an hour would I earn doing a: light exercise b: moderate exercise c: high intensity exercise is it possible to estimate the pts? Girls.
