No, prepared hummus has Tahini which is a sesame paste and is not core. Its easy enough to make a core hummus though. There are some recipes here as well. What I do is take a can of white beans or chickpeas, drain and put into a food processor. Add in a clove or two of garlic, then turn on. Rather than oil, I'll think it to a dip consistency with chicken stock. I do add some olive oil -- but add some on top of what I'm going to eat rather than mix it into the whole batch. That way I can control it better.
