I know it's December but I don't remember the exact date. I'll see if if I can find it.

Thanks, Vickie. I hadn't even thought of checking her old messages. You're a sharp chickie.

Well, I'm getting bored. I need to get out and do something.

And Frouf? Are you out there, too? Is it time for your cruise?

I just got my signature tracker thingee up to date.

Man! The board is quiet today. I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign. I think it's bad for me cuz I'm lonesome.

Good early morning! it's 4AM here in Toronto, and I'm wide awake for the second early morning waking this week.

We had to go to Niagara Falls, NY yesterday and deal with a minor problem at the Social Security office. It's only 1 1/2 hours from here and I drove both ways, but I think I'm awake from that. I don't normally do much highway driving and it makes me restless I think.

Of all things, I had a really good vegetable omelette at a Denny's in NY yesterday. Often cooks overcook them or even burn them, but this one was perfect. The rest of the day I didn't eat much, so huger is part of my waking this morning too. It's tamed with some hot lf milk, vanilla and Splenda.

Today it shouldn't be too hard to stay OP but, as is often the case, is a problem. But, I'm still walking a good 3-4 miles everyday.

Talk to you later,
Rhonda

Yoo hoo...anybody out there?

Well, I had another good day with food, and managed to walk two miles anyway. It's raining, so I shortened my usual route.

I'll do some floor exercises tonight also.

I got some very bad news about a close friend. He's been diagnosed with Scleradoma. This is an autoimmune disease of the connective tissue. The tissue hardens and there is no cure. It attacks the skin, but can also attack internal organs and the esophagus, leading to death eventually. Count your blessings.

Good Evening All,

Sounds like everyone is having a pretty good week.

Rhonda - Yea on that NSV!!! It's all those little nsv's that add up to big losses in the end.

Sandra - Congratulations on the loss!! 2.8 you go girl!

Coco - Where are you? Hope you're doing well.

Vicki - hope you're having a good week.

I don't remember who asked but Frouf should be home from her cruise. She left on the Sept 29 or there abouts.

Well my week has been going pretty well. I haven't been tracking, but I've been hitting my walking goals and drinking my water and jeans have been loose still, as well as I've hit the last hole on my belt, and I don't think I was when I left, so I'm feeling pretty happy. Tomorrow we drive home, we won't be home until late, but I am so ready to be home. I always feel this way on the end of a 2 week trip.

Have a great day

-Tech/Donna

Rhonda, I'm so sorry about your friend. So sad.

Congratulations on getting in the walking and for making healthy eating choices. You're doing so well. I am happy for you.

Donna, congratulations to you, too. Last notch is a fantastic NSV.

We had a good day eating today. One addition to our program is local honey. We bought some today and are going to incorporate it into our daily diet to try to fend off allergy problems. Wish us luck. We both get cedar fever.

Did I tell ya'll I'm covered in poison ivy? I am itching from the knees down.

Rhonda, I hope you can sleep through the night. You're getting up awfully early.

Donna, are you home from your vacation now? I am the one who was asking about Frouf's cruise. Maybe she'll pop back in here and tell us about it.

Coco, Patti, and Vickie, I hope you're having a good week.

Hi there, Patti Girl!!! It's soooo good to see you here tonight. No, I haven't tried calamine lotion. I'm using a cortisone cream, rubbing alcohol, and Benadryl. I'm slowly getting better.

I'm glad you're back on the "You" plan. Keep us posted.

It's good to see some activity on the Board.

Where are you Coco?

Sandra, really now! Poison ivy!? I'm not laughing, I'm really NOT laughing!! Really, I'm not. OK, I mean it; I am NOT laughing.

I'm glad you had a good trip Donna, and those are all good signs for a weight loss. I'm always just grateful if I don't gain on a vacation.

Patti, congratulations on the loss. I lost 4 really easily and have to refocus for the next 4.

I was up again early. It's all in my head. There are serious budget problems at work, and I'm really good about fretting over things that I cannot control!

Take care all; have a great OP day.

Rhonda

Default It's Been a While!!

Hi everyone! It's been ages since I have been here. So to those of you who know me...let me update you.
It's been a struggle for me, BIG Time!! GAINED Big Time.. Week of May 26 I decided to DO Core the way it is written and just change my way of eating. Well I am here to tell you of my success.
I have lost 47 lbs. I am now 119 lbs at my weigh in last Saturday. I am SO proud!! I have never gone off in all these weeks..NO reason to! I eat well, and definitly use my WPA...with maintenence I can use, if I choose, the 28 addtional WPA's allowed on maintenence.
I am a Core advacate....can you believe it Vickie...me???
I have made many changes in my eating, and I am here to tell you, Core works!! Both plans do...I always say...It Works if YOU work it.
I even cook now!! Me!! Those of you who know me, know how I feel about cooking!! Now, I plan every week, and make the best recipes out of the TurnAround Cookbook. If it's a pts recipe, I make it Core with a few changes.

Well I wanted to share my success. BELIEVE me...if I CAN do it you can!!
As Vickie always says...Don't Give Up!!
I second that emotion!!
Best of Luck to ALL of you!!!
