  • thanks, kathy. tell judd thanks, too.

we're staying op on this trip. (we're at a hotel in butte right now.) tomorrow we compete in the state senior olympics. tomorrow evening we leave to rejoin our travel trailer at the largest 3d competition in the area. we won't be able to be online after tonight till we get home sun evening or monday.

we went to ww this am. curtis lost almost 5 lbs. i lost almost 2. life is good. we are finished (if all goes as planned) eating out on this trip except for bfast in the am. i looked over the bfast nook here and it's looking like cereal and fruit for us.

i made sandwiches for us to eat during the championship tomorrow. the travel trailer is loaded with core foods for the rest of the weekend. we should do well.

tiki, are you wanting to go back to work? i can't remember how old your children are. would it be beneficial for you to work at the local school so you could maybe be with them?

vickie, how's your day going? how's your sod? we got some good rain yesterday that should help set our new tree.

paula, wine sounds good to me. i don't know about pretzels, though. i think i'd have gone for cheese and crackers--but that's just me.

donna, i didn't get the vcr set. bummer.

gotta run. i'll try to get back later.
  • Good Morning Chicks! It's to be a very busy day for me, although I haven't given up hopes of getting in the pool. I walked for 25 minutes and I'm already showered and dressed. We have lunch out with a friend. Before that, Jim has to go and get us a sprinkler. We only have the sprinkler system in the front and sides of the house. The sod will be installed tomorrow in the back yard so we'll need a good sprinkler to water the new sod in the back yard. Unfortunately, we are on watering restrictions so it won't be easy. I think I'll just take my chances and water anyway just on the new sod.

Tomorrow will be crazy for me with the demo so I doubt I'll be back around until Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Sandra, I so admire you and Curtis. Congratulations on your great losses. I'm trying too!

Everyone else, be well, stay on program and drink your water! I will be too.
  • Sandra, I am SO impressed with both of you and I'm proud to call you my Cyber friend! What a fantastic article. I knew you were good at archery but I didn't know all the history. I'm so glad you shared this with me. Your personality just shines through the article.
  • Wow, Sandra! Great article. You look Fabulous!!

TGIF! and its my last day at work for a week! WOO HOO. Vacation next week. Today is Sarah's last day at school - feel sort of blue, she is growing up a bit too fast for me. Any way to stop time???

I'm still motivated and staying OP. Things today at work are busy - lots of meetings and things to wrap up. I'll try to stop by later on, if not tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing well.
  • Forgot to say congratulations to both Sandra and Curtis - great losses on the road!
  • Hey All! I'm back from lunch and from driving our friend around to see condos from the outside. I didn't do too badly at lunch and now I'm about to head into the pool. Hope it's not too cold! Yipee.....some extra credit exercise.
  • Sandra what an honour!! Im so impressed with your article. Like Vickie I didnt realize all the history either. LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture they used!
  • Hi Everyone
ONTARGET LOVE THE PICTURE AND STORY. That is wonderful.
Well not much happening here today.
Washed some bed clothes and hung them out today. I love to do that. And then fall into a nice fresh bed at night.
well am going to get off here.
Hope everyone has had a great day.
    Thinking of each of you.

  • Vickie, we are pretty much always on restriction but it doesn't include hand-watering. If you need to do that to keep your new sod soaked, I'm sure it would be okay.

Another "not that hungry" day ... am trying to stay busy with cleaning and making more beaded lanyards. I've only made 7 today but hope to make another 4-5 before bedtime; then tomorrow will be a combination of lanyards and aprons. Hopefully I can put the beads up by around noon and then get right on the sewing machine.

Off to do more cleaning; see you tomorrow or Sunday. I don't seem to have enough hours in the day between the cleaning, laundry, cooking, tending to animals, and crafts (my fundraiser). Tomorrow I *MUST* clean the shower and tub in the master bathroom before the Health Department comes in and shuts the whole place down.
  • Hello All,

Haven't done too badly the last couple of days although not totally core foods. But better than I usually eat when I'm PMSing.

Sandra - what a great article and I liked the picture too. on the loss for both you and Curtis.

Vicki - Good luck with the sod, I just wish it would rain here, and there's none except hot pm thunderstorms on the horizon. Did you enjoy the pool?

Rhonda - Yea on joining the classes, enjoy yourself.

Kathy - Having dogs can be just like little kids sometimes, not a lot of fun. Hope you got some sleep.

Tiki - Good luck with the whole job thing. I need to get moving on that myself, I just can't decide what I want to be when I'm grown up (I thought I'd know by the time I was 40 but no luck)

    Paula - enjoy your vacation

Frouf - where are you? did you say you were going away?

Well, I'm about to fall asleep at the keyboard, so I should call it a night. Have a fun weekend everyone.

  • Hi All:

I was so tired today, I came home at 4PM, slept until 6PM, ate salad for dinner and then watched three 1930's Nancy Drew movies! I am now going to bed!

I did OK with food today, and the weekend shouldn't be too bad.

Sandra, the story was just great....sooooo proud of and for you.

Vickie, new sod needs LOTS of water, probably more than you can get to it by hand watering...at least, that is my experience. And, of course, you soak it and it seems that it is enough, but it won't be!! Good luck.

Kathy, haven't you been having lots of rain and storms this year? Is it still considered a drought situation?

OK, tomorrow we start the new exercise routine to work up to starting classes next week. I'll go back to my DVD's and work up!

    Sleep tight!

    Rhonda
