Fresh broccoli, cleaned and cut into bite-size pieces
1-lb of cooked bacon, crumbled
1-cup of purple onion
Shredded cheese to taste

Toss with a mixture of mayo, vinegar, and sweetner (I used about 1/2 cup mayo, 1-1/2 tablespoon of white vinegar and 4 pkgs of Equal). All ingredients can be changed according to your own taste.

Had to make this w/Bacos (used about 1/2 cup)instead of real bacon (I live in a very small town and at our tiny market there were only 2# of bacon -- at $5.15 each!) -- anyway, put the bacos in the dressing to soften them up and added a little Half and Half and sour cream to it (ran out of mayo! Oye vey! -- this is how I cook!) -- mixed it up and served it to son (17 -- he's lost 40 cutting back on carbs and exercising)...his eyes got wide and he told me He LOVED IT! Me too!

Thanks for the variation idea - being a veg head, no bacon for me, but I'll try it with the soy bacos!
