  • Hey gardenerjoy, thanks for starting up the next thread. How in the world did it get to be October already?

    I'm going to stick with the same goals I had for September, they seemed pretty reasonable. Walk 80 miles and do strength/stretching for 500 minutes.

    I barely made my modest September goal of 500 minutes.
    I will make 500 minutes of intentional exercise my October goal as well.

    Oct3: 15 min walk (then took a tumble that left me bruised and bloody)

  • Since I exceeded my goal in September, I'm setting a higher bar for October -- 1200 minutes has been a good amount for me in the past, so I'm happy to be there again.

    Not a bad start to my month. This next week will be rougher, but I'm going to do great this weekend, and keep getting stretching and strength most days all week. Walking will be hard to fit in this week. Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday will most likely be skipped unless I feel like hopping on the treadmill, but that's still better than last month, when I skipped 6 days in the first 10. I'll definitely get at least a mile on Thursday (work related, but still counts, I go downtown and have a 1 mile route I walk for work on the 10th of every month for deliveries), and Friday should be good.
