  • I don't do well with mini-goals - I never reach them in the time frame I shoot for. My last mini-goal was to get to 165lbs by New Year's and it didn't happen. However, I did lose 1 or 2 lbs, so it's progress.

I suppose I will make an unofficial mini-goal here to reach 165lbs by February 14th. Why not? Even if I lose another pound or two and nothing more - it's something!

My real goal is to stay within my calorie range 1400-1550 per day and move for at least 30 minutes per day (walking, dancing, elliptical) for the remainder of this Valentine's Day challenge.

You ladies are terrific at creative ways to keep on track. Love the challenges!
  • Susie- I'm so sorry for your loss. That breaks my heart. It's understandable that would cause stress, and weight gain. Welcome back You'll do great.

LisaMarie- welcome I noticed our heights & weights are similar! Good luck to you!! We will support eachother through it! Do you use myfitnesspal? If so, feel free to add me...FitWife!
  • Had another successful day. It's been almost a week and I've been on plan each day. I can't wait until Sunday to do my measurements. I'm looking forward to seeing my results this week.

Let's keep our focus and get some results.
  • Good Morning ladies,

I'd like to join the challenge. I have a wedding dress to get skinny for! I surpassed my last challenge goal by 1 lb so this challenge I want to lose the rest to get out of the 130's. So i'm going for 6.8 lbs to get me to 128.

I'm going to stick to my no sugar and processed flour eating, and working out. We are moving in 9 days so I will find a gym near our new place and start my work outs.

I'm so excited ladies! Good Luck!
  • The scale finally budged. I have been eating a little bit on the high-calorie side, but I've bumped up the activity (to the point where I feel sore and have a new blister) and I think that did it. I'm paying attention to calorie deficit, making sure it's at least 500 calories per day.
  • Completed my wrkout 2day. I really want to reach my goal by Nov since I'm maid of honor in my best friends wedding. Now I'm engaged as of yesterday. My bf asked me so now I have to move to Georgia in a few mnths. Man parents are guna be mad. They h8 him with a passion but they can't keep controllin my life I'm bout to be 26 in 2 mnths.

    lets goooo
  • Happy Friday everyone!
Seems like everybody’s doing really well and we’re starting the new year off in a great way! I’ve been staying on plan and the Christmas goodies are almost all gone from my house, so that temptation will soon be gone I’ve been walking every day and it’s so nice to get back to exercising every day. Unfortunately, I’ve caught a bad cough (my mom and my brother have had this cough for over a month now and my bro’s turned into bronchitis, so I’m really hoping I can fight mine off before it gets as bad as theirs )

On the plus side, I decided to weigh in this morning and I weighed 156 lbs! I was so excited that I hadn’t done more damage over the holidays, since New Year’s Day I weighed 158.5 lbs. But I guess it was mostly water weight. Now I’m almost back to my pre-Christmas 155.5. Keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll get there by my official weigh-in on Sunday.

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!
  • Just checking in. Did my 5th workout last night to stay on track with my personal challenge.

Congratulations to everyone on keeping up with their personal valentines day challenges. You rock!
  • Checking in ~ I'm kind of stuck at home doing academic work, and it's frustrating not to be outside walking. But I'm jogging in place on the mini trampoline while reading, and the steps really add up. Every day I'm keeping a close eye on my Fitbit numbers, and trying to outdo the day before. It's working! My calorie deficit has been 500-800, and the scale is going down!
  • Hi ladies, I look forward to getting to know all of you who are new to me from when I was here before.

My goal for Valentines day is to lose 6 pounds. It shouldn't be too hard since I'm literally starting over. I know the first 4 or so will fly off due to water weight. My non-weigh goals are to eat 1500-1700 cals a day to start off with and exercise 30 minutes per day for at least 5 days a week. I really need to try and do every day because I know that if I take a day off, I'm likely to take the next day off too until I get back into the habit again.

I'll weigh in officially on Monday and let me tell you, I'm scared! Really scared!

I'll update my tickers and photo then too.
  • jmfan317 - Congratulations on your engagement!
jdonato - I also have a goal of no sugar and processed flour eating during the week. I had been using raw sugar in my morning tea, and now I have switched to Stevia crystals. I tried tea with no sweetener, but it just doesn't do it for me. So, during the work week I stick to no added sugar or white flour. On the weekends, I haven't been sticking to that plan, but that's always a goal in my mind to keep to moderation in those areas.
  • another good day. looks like this week can be called a success. i am excited about measuring tomorrow. i will check in tomorrow after church!!
  • Hi all! Some of you may remember me, from previous challenges. I took a break for a while because I hit my weight goal. I'm back now because I am trying to get fit by weight lifting.
