  • Quote: Well I finally had my first weigh in for 2 weeks and I'm down almost 8 lbs... I'm happy with it but my lean body mass has dropped yet again. Not sure if I'm not getting enough protein... my coach didn't seem concerned but it's dropped every WI. My body fat has dropped too but I don't want to lose too much lean body mass either!

Awesome job Sara from another Sara with no 'h'!!!!
  • Hi, this is my first post! I have been reading on this site for inspiration and info as much as possible. I started IP about a month ago. It's going a little slowly on the scale but I think in inches I am seeing some progress! I am really trying this week to not mess up at all! It's to read of all the great weight loss!
  • It's great to read of all the great weight loss stories!

Even though your pounds maybe slowing down your inches are still coming off. Your body is changing daily so that is a good thing. Keep up the great work, the weight WILL come off, just stick to the program and DON'T CHEAT!!
  • Thanks! It has been a challenge to get totally into following this plan, but I am getting it now. I have learned a lot from you and others! Congrats to you on your progress! You look great! I will not cheat!!!

Thanks, once you get into the routine you will get it together. Just takes a little time is all and a little preparation. Anytime you think about "cheating" just ask yourself.....what is more important the satisfaction of this ____(fill in the blank) for 2 minutes or the satisfaction of being 1-2 lbs lighter? This is only temporary, you will eat regular food again....its worth putting it on hold to get those pounds off
  • good morning everyone and happy Monday! (wait, is that a double negative!?)

    how are you doing?

today was my 4th weigh in and I am down 3 more lbs... was hoping for more but I will take it.

I have had my TOM 2 weeks early and it lasted for over 2 friggin' weeks if you can believe it... it's finally gone (fingers crossed) so here's hoping I don't see it for a while.

Have any other newbies...or even veterans had their coach tell them nothing is restricted any more? I asked the newbies first thinking this may be something new since the veterans have started. I know everyone loses differently, but I had to wonder if my 1.5 pound loss for this past week is due in part to nothing being restricted for me.

Hmm, not me. That personally sounds strange to me. Are you referring to veggies, or packets or everything?

Just the packets. And quite frankly after being on this site for several weeks now, I too, thought it sounded strange.

If that were the case I'd be having dill pickle zippers for breakfast, lunch, and snack...lol. JK
  • I will be a newbie tomorrow
I visited my cardiologist today, fearful that I may be having a problem. She had the ideal protien.com website and some info about the diet. I go back tomorrow to talk to the consultant for the diet. I need to lose 50 pounds so I can enjoy my grand kids and my retirement.

I CAN believe it because I'm living it! Additionally crazy was my WI last week considering TOM. I normally gain 5 lbs..easily. <sigh> More broccoli please.

oh no! sad to hear that someone else had to endure that lovely TOM for that long. I am usually a 4-5 day girl so 16 days was un-frickin' heard of for me!
