How about all the newbies start a challenge group? Not sure how... But anyone interested maybe in meeting weekly goals of exercise and eating well?

I'd like to join. I just started an exercise and diet routine 2 weeks ago. Trying to lose baby weight plus some. I do weigh ins on Saturday Mornings. I'm doing short goal so it does not seem so unrealistic. My current goal is 13 lbs by June 21st. I am down 2 lbs. What are everyone elses goals?

Hi tmil206-
Maybe our challenge should be lucky number 13 by end of June? I started my weight loss challenge after I took a Christmas cruise and saw the pics couldn't believe how fat I had got. I've lost 20+ pounds. But now, I'm totally stuck at 170. Have been for a month, so I thought some support from a group like this might help. My goal is 155.

I'm wanting to get the weight off before I get pregnant. Something I hope to do late summer/fall. I'm wanting to go into my pregnancy healthy and more fit than I am today.

Hi killerabs and tmil, I am up for 13 pounds by the end of June if you guys are! how about adding in some weekly goals, like at least 30 minutes every day, for exercising as I have no motivation in that area?
By the way killerabs, I just want to be able to find mine, (abs that is)!
What do you guys think?

Ok, so the challenge is lucky number 13 by the end of June. Let's set goals for 30 minuets of moderate exercise at least 5 times a week and let's keep a calorie count. Sound good? I think we should have to report out actual numbers at least once week. How about on Fridays?

Ok, let's do it. How did everyone do over the weekend?? Me, I did ok. I did lots of heavy yard work instead of going to the gym, but didn't do so well with the food as we had lots of social events.

Ok everyone, it our day of truth!! I weighed in at 169.o today! I lost 1 pound this week. At least I am "unstuck" from 170. I did well with my calorie counting, but could have done better with my exercise. I've only worked out two days this week due to a hellish work schedule. Now, getting through the weekend with losing momentum, which is hard for me!!

How did everyone ele do this week??

Since this is my first week..... I am 168 and looking to loose at least a pound by friday weigh in......

Default Our little group is growing! (and we are losing!)

Hi everyone, I lost a pound this week! My husband and I have started taking walks together, at least until the heat shows up, and it has been fun. Did not do so well watching food intake or getting exercise other than the walks. Had hoped for a little more progress, but I will take what I can get! Have a great week, everyone!
