  • Just two more days of Shred!!!!
  • yay popcorn!!!

as for me, i started power 90. i did sculpt 1-2 yesterday and sweat 1-2 and ab ripper 100 today. i must say, it's a **** of a lot easier than jillian, but i def sweat the entire time today. i think i need to up my weights a bit on the sculpt for tomorrow though. it's a good workout, but i'm not sure if i'll be able to do the whole 30 days without being bored to death. hopefully in a week or so i'll be able to do it without the video, just listening, and be able to do it on the beach or on my hiking route. i think i'm going to stick with c25k on days i sculpt and take a 20-30 minute bike ride on days i do cardio.

i ended up going out yesterday and didn't get around to my photos and measurements for you all...and today i was just plain lazy, so i'll get on that tomorrow morning. i'm relatively positive that my measurements are exactly the same...and i know my weight is up 3 lbs. please don't let my results discourage any of you though, because i ate like CRAP while i did the shred, and wasn't trying to lose any weight. for those of you actually watching your diet and actively trying to make the scale drop, you'll probably get much better results than i did.
  • also, for those of you who wanted to get jillian michael's shred it with weights, exercisetv.tv is having a 20%off sale tomorrow (tuesday the 7th)and they have it. they have a bunch of other good videos too if any of you are looking for post-shred workouts
  • Amyleigh,

I haven't done the 1-2 Sculpt yet, but I did the 1-2 Sweat today. I did sweat a good bit, but don't feel like I got a great cardio workout. I wish now I would have saved the money and just done the lowest impact on the P90X (the bf has it and doesn't use it due to an injury). I hope 3-4 is more of a challenge. I just don't think I'll be able to get through more than 2 weeks of the level 1-2 without getting completely bored out of my mind.

I will post my before/after pics for the shred soon. The bf took my before pics on his camera and it's acting up. Hopefully we'll be able to get them uploaded and I haven't lost them completely! My measurements are in my previous post (about 13 1/2 in loss total) and I've lost 10 lbs. I stayed pretty much on target with my diet (1200-1500 cals/day with one cheat meal per week). Not too shabby!
  • Just one more day.....
  • HEY LADIES

congradulations all of you on finishing your amazing!!!!!!!!! hdallas & amy if your finding it so easy would you recommend p90? i might get slim in 6 if you guys arnt loving it that much & how long are the workouts?

as for me im a failure! last week i had my "official" weekly weigh in day (i actually weigh myself every day) but i hadnt moved on the weight at all in about two weeks at 1200 cals, got completely demotivated and just kept saying "ill do it tomorrow" its a week later so that didnt work out too well, but as of two days ago the weight started dropping again (i kept up the calorie counting just didnt exercise & i know im probably losing muscle) so ive picked up the shred where i left off if it kills me ill do the last 5 days.

Wouldnt reccomend taking 6 days off, i dont think ive ever cussed so much as i did at jillian today!
  • I just finished my fourth day of Level 1 and I feel like I've been doing this for weeks lol. I will say my body isn't as painful as it was after the first day . I'm doing a joint 30DS and C25K exercise routine. I just found Jillian's Yoga Meltdown and it looked pretty interesting. I'm thinking of doing that on my non-C25K days in conjunction with 30DS. Anyone try her yoga vid? Keep up all the good work ladies! I can't wait to say I'm on the last leg of Level 3 too

  • I did 30 days of Shred!!!!!

  • Hi, Ladies! Just popping in. I haven't been doing my 30 Day Shred DVD. Since I've started running I've been trying to do No More Trouble Zones for strength training. I did oreder Jillian's new Shred it DVD yesterday, so hopefully it will get here soon! Good to see that all of you are doing well! Since I don't see a NMTZ thread I might come post here every now and then.
  • hey ladies, for those of you who have finished up and are moving onto another program, i started a link under fitness videos "We completed the Shred!" so we can all stick together and keep accountable to each other regardless of what program we're doing now. Even those of you who didn't finish it can feel free to join. I just feel weird posting daily in a 30ds forum about power 90. haha

  • Hello!
I am a fan of all Jillians DVDs. I've been doing 30 days shred level 1 or 2 (some days I did both for a 40min killer workout) sporadically, but never commited to 30 days straight.

I just started healthy eating and losing again, so I think I can finally complete the 30DS and start exercising, but with a twist:
I tought of combining 30DS and CardioMax from the Biggest loser. I thought I'll do 3 days of 30DS per week, 2 days of CardioMax from the Bigggest Loser and take 2 rest days. And I tought of doing each level for 3 weeks, for a total of nine weeks.
    W1-W3 Tue,Thu,Sat 30DS level 1,
    Mon,Fri CardioMax level 1,
    Wed,Sun rest days
    W4-W6 Tue,Thu,Sat 30DS level 2,
    Mon,Fri CardioMax level 1 and 2,
    Wed,Sun rest days
    W7-W9 Tue,Thu,Sat 30DS level 3,
Mon,Fri CardioMax whole workout (level 1,2 and 3)
    Wed,Sun rest days

So that's two months worth of working out let's see how it goes, I'll log when I do level 1 30ds today!
