I would really, really recommend you go to Goodwill or the Salvation Army and spend $5 on 4 XL t-shirts and 1 Large t-shirt. It is so motivating to get into clothes that fit--and baggy clothes frustrate me, because after a while they don't get any MORE baggy, you know? So you don't see yourself changing.
People notice long, long, long before they say anything because they want to be
sure you are losing weight. So whenever someone finally asks if you have lost weight, assume they started wondering at least a month ago.
My favorite comment came from a woman who kept asking what I had done to my hair. I was thinking "If you know someone that can give a haircut that makes a person look 70 lbs thinner, PLEASE give me her number!"
