    Since I seem to be losing at the WORLD's SLOWEST pace right now, I'm going to shoot for 164 by the end of April. (Last month I lost a whopping 1lb, yep, not exactly setting any land-speed records here).

    I have a big dance rectial June 11, 12. My costumes are tight. I hope to be 160 by May 1, 155 by June 1st. I think that is a good goal. Just started Zumba too. Hope I can do this. I'm not a good dieter. Need support and help!

  • My goal for April is to lose 10 lbs. I plan to keep a food log and exercise for at least 45 minutes 3 times a week.
  • My Goal for April is to get out of the 230's. Last month I gained + 5.2 LBS.
  • I'm going to lose 25 pounds this month.

    April Fool's! I'm shooting for 10, which would put me at 177. I didn't lose that 1.6 pound that would have put me at 10 pounds for March. Instead I found .2, which put me at 187, and four pounds short of my goal.

    Now that fresh produce is finally coming in (I love my job--I get early access to whatever our local farmers have!), I am planning to drown myself in salads. Can anyone say arugula? I loooove you aruuugulaaaa! oh, sorry.

    MsP: thank you for being the goal keeper, and please put me down for 10 pounds/reach 177. And you are welcome for the post on your blog -- I would love to help inspire you to keep inspiring me!

    Redheadedbrat: You need to put in 20 days and 20 posts before you get a signature with ticker. Is that goal #1? lol When you've reached that goal, you go into user cp (top left in the menu bar), and follow the links.

    Mytime2Bsuccessful: can we shorten your name to Successful? That sounds like a good omen. I have to say that over the years when I've tried to lose weight, the only other time I had success is when I faithfully logged all my food. The act of having to account for it all is a great motivator for not eating it in the first place! Being accountable by checking in on this thread daily helps too!

    So, I was kinda bummed that I gained in March...yeah, that's right. I messed up, so you're not the only one who went the wrong direction, VickieLou and at least you LOST weight, dancerindenver! But it's all good.
    I learned some things along the way and have already made some changes and gone back to more of what worked so well for me in the past. April is not going to be a repeat of March! This I know!!! In fact I already had a wonderful NSV today that totally boosted my mood! I was at my Bible study this morning and this lady I just met from there a couple months ago says, "Do you run?" and I said, "Yeah." Then she said, "I could tell because you have that slender runner's body." WHAT?! Me??? WOW!!! You guys, that made my day! I was SO, SO happy to hear that it shows to someone who doesn't know my struggle with weight and all. Just wanted to share.

    Redheadedbrat- Did you want to set more specific goals or just stick with losing weight as a general goal? Let me know and I can edit it on the list.
