I'm wondering about supplements to help with fat loss/muscle building. I'm not interested in any "energy" pills or anything that will supposedly up my metabolism. I'm wondering more along the lines of creatine, betagen, or nitric oxide. Basically I want to make sure I'm doing all I can to get the most out of this challenge. I'm using some protein powder/Myoplex Lite and I take the following vitamins/supplements daily (did this before I started this program): calcium, flax/fish oil capsules, multi-vitamin, HSN supplement (hair, skin, nails), vitamin C, and osteo-biflex.

For fat loss I take CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). It is supposed to help with fat loss especially around the midsection. I also take L-glutamine to help with muscle soreness from the weight lifting.

For workout puposes I take Vit C 1000mg and Glucosamine before a workout... After an intense weight workout I take Glutamine for muscle soreness. I did at one point take CLA but saw no difference in my weight loss...
Just for health I take ground flax 1or2 tablespoons daily, more Vit C, some Vit E, Calcium and Magnesium Supplement, I also take UDO's oil... I find all these vitamins have helped my PMS and peri-menopause A LOT...
I also take a protein powder to up my protein intake...
