Hi - I'm new here, too! Started the diet 5/10/13, after almost two months of beating around the bush. Mornings were really hard at first, but getting under control now. Am at 201 lbs, with a 75 lb goal. Just retired, and am having plenty of time now to gather and practice new recipies. I love it. Except in the mornings! Haven't figured out how to overcome fatigue that is peculiar to that time. It isn't until I have a protein at noon---that's when I have mine. After having a protein, my energy soars all afternoon, and I'm not hungry. Am perfectly satisfied with a dinner packet and vegies at night. I guess it's my own particular metabolism cycle, if there is such a thing. Like individual sleep cycles.
Hi and congratulations on your retirement! I'm looking forward to my retirement, although that's another 8 years away.
I agree with VioletDolphin...you can have a protein in the morning as well. I ensure that I have protein at every meal. Possible choices for breakfast include eggs, cheese, Greek yoghurt, a protein shake, etc.
