Well the alarm didn't go off this morning (I promise I had it set right!), so I woke up with not enough time to TM. So I popped in a Leslie Sansone 1-mile tape and did that. Wow, I hardly even broke a sweat!
Last night we also took Maddie for a walk around the neighborhood. Kept a pretty good pace (she's a race walker!) and we live in a pretty hilly area, so I'm feeling it this morning.
Was finally able to get out today and do my 4.5 miles. Took me 57 minutes, it was tough and it is hotter than heck out there Got back right in time, 2 minutes after I walked in the door it started to pour!
BUMMER. I took my daughter to swim lessons and then took both kids to the gym. 20 minutes into my workout (on the treadmill), they came to get me because my 10-month old wouldn't stop crying. There were so many kids in there since it is summer and I think she was overwhelmed. I didn't get to do any weights and didn't get to finish my treadmill workout.
Oh well, twenty minutes of cardio is better than nothing at all, right? I plan to go to the gym on Wednesday morning when my husband is home with the girls (at 6:00 a.m.).
This is my first post here. I have decided to really up my exercise this month to see if it helps. I am also trying to stick to Sugar Busters.
Today I went to Curves and had a wonderful workout. I really try to push it while I am there. I joined a month challenge and hope to see some body fat and inches leave this body. Tonight Hubby and I have a tennis lesson.
Selah and I walked for 45 minutes this MA, about 3 miles, and pushing that darn stroller counts for something, right? I spent an hour in the garden, but just weeding, and I did 6 sets of crunches (40/set) Are we supposed to post our water here, too? I'm at 96 oz right now, an dplan to dting 32 more before bed.
Monday: Besides my a.m. TM, I walked at lunch with a co-worker and then after supper P and I took M for a walk. Three walks in one day. Has to be a personal best for me! yesterday was the second consecutive day at well over 10,000 steps. That's supposed to make a difference.
Today: 38 minutes on the TM. Whew! Was I sweaty!!!!! And stinky!!!!!
Nice going to all of you who are posting on this board. You are doing GREAT!!!! If it's hard to get that exercise in today, do it and then feel the power when you are finished. I don't just mean physical power, I mean MENTAL power. We are women hear us ROAR!!!!
Well I got up early and did 20 mins on the treadmill. Ouch I was really moving. I am also heading to Curves for lunch. So todays exercise was wonderful.
