Miss Lucy got me up at 4 this morning! The joys of dog parenthood! She seems a bit under the weather these days - not eating and whimpering for petting. Hmmmm. In a non-furry baby, I'd say she was teething! The rest of the world would say she is spoiled!

My house is spotless and the laundry is all done! I did some work on Fair stuff yesterday afternoon and sure felt good to get it done! I am such a procrastinator! This is a prize book that should have gone out before Christmas! If anyone says anything at the Thursday meeting, I'll just tell them I'm incompetent!

We seem to be easing off on postings in the daily. Was it because of the holiday weekend? I hope everyone knows that the daily is for all the LC chickies, not just Atkins. Come on and join in!

I'm off to check the boards and will pop in later when you sleepyheads wake up!

I did a lot of work yesterday and I have a lot more to do. The carpet is ripped up, the underpad is in the garbage (in fact, picked up just in time by the garbage truck!) and I'm half way done getting out all the staples and banging down some errant nails. Have to make a quick trip to the building center to get some levelling agent since the subfloor isn't in the greatest condition. Picked out some wonderful tumble brick style peel and stick in cream, peach, and light brown. It will go fabulously well with the rest of the decor in my room. Dh called and he has not a clue what has transpired...hehehehehe....

Ruth, I WISH my house was spotless! We are on an off cleaning week, and my house is at it's dirtyest right now.

I am also working on some home improvements. I am so excited. We have been in our house for about a year and a half and we are just starting work now. We are getting a new blacktop driveway with Belgian Block curb, all new brick walkways, and a 15 x20 foot patio off the back of the house! It is going to be soooo nice! We are also getting an estimate for Central Air this weekend! I need that!

Good morning.
I have spent the morning on the phone with Dell tech support. My laptop will not pick up the internet! A glorified gameboy as it stands. I should get the new part in the morning.
So I sit here at DH's computer.

Golf is postponed today due to rain. Reschedualed for next Tuesday at 8:00. I still have to go to the meeting and dinner 'cuse it is paid for!

Lazy long weekend here. No school yesterday for partiots Day. No clue what it is but the Marathon is always run on that day.
We did get the garage cleaned out, so all in all not too bad. Laundry is waiting to be folded and I need a shower.

Gina, feel better. It will pass and you will come out the other side feeling better.

Ruth, lots of spring breaks form school going on so that may be why such low posting, and I don't think any pup as cute as Lucy could *ever* be spoiled. Saddly I say this because i think my 2 are in close running for the princess title!

pooky, happy working today. The room will be such a suprise for DH, and don't they just love to be suprised?

I broke down last night, and went shopping for a new bra...exciting eh??!! Ive bought all new clothes since starting this way of eating, but the bras Ive been holding off....you know how comfy they can be?! Well, Ive lost alot more up top than I thought. Ive gone from a 40DD to a 36D So......I bought a pretty pink one Im not so sure I like the girls sittin' so high on my chest, at my age, it just aint natural!! lol Anyway, I had fun, and it was just a bit more motivation to shed the rest of it. I must say though, its a strange feeling, getting help from sales women, when bf's and husbands are standing all over the place and listening!!!!!(I was in VictoriaS)

I had better get moving, Im running late.....

I can't wait for the day that I can go into a store and buy a bra! Right now I am so big I use catalogs for bra purchases. When I was on Jenny Craig, I lost so much weight that I started buying PADDED BRAS at VS! Can you believe it! I'm not so sure that those days will come again... Hee Hee.

To All of you that have started Re-Induction for some reason I am not there yet--but I am coming!! I hope!! I feel the need to empty out the contents of my fridge and cupboards--but instead of putting the stuff in the trash--yep, I've been eating it! I'm still gonna re-induct--just not this week.

Pooky-I was thinking of you last night, my hubby and I was putting up a new ceiling fan...we did not finish up until like 12:30 a.m.--it was so cold by the time we were done that I did not even want it on of course DH had to turn it on anyway!

Doing mortgage applications, and a refinance on our FL house- the paperwork is mindboggling. But things are moving well. The eating is not great, but I can't get crazy over that right now.

I am on my way to FL to get the house ready for rental, and DH wil help me drive the furnuture up to NY next week. I'll be back Wed. or Thurs, May 1st or so.

Went to the beach for the weekend with the kids, my brother lives in Charleston, SC. It was nice, only one good beach day but that is better than none!!!

Back to work today - need to get motivated!!

Pooky I need you to come to my house....you are a dream

I think I posted everywhere else but here today. I just have to brag a little, Chicks. My older daughter came over yesterday and although I've noticed she's lost some weight, it was REALLY noticeable yesterday. Turns out she's lost 45 lb in the past year. Part of it is due to a change in her depression meds. She said when the doctor warned her that her new meds could cause loss of appetite she told him "And the problem with that is????" Anyhow, she has a stack of clothes that need to be altered and guess who gets that job. I don't mind. I'm just so thrilled for her. She's taller than I so she carried her 230 lb very well but what a difference now! But, she has one major complaint and that is that she's lost her boobs. Now this was a thin child who grew up to be a slender teen. Even after she had her first baby at 18, she remained slender. Then she got married and #2 baby came along immediately and she ballooned. Even though she's always been very active, I think her hormones must have been totally out of whack. That #2 baby will soon be 16 yr old and at last she's getting back her pre-pregnancy figure. I told her to quit complaining about clothes not fitting and smaller boobs and just rejoice! I know I would.
