Well, when I was in the Cardiac Care Unit at age 35 after suffering chest pain, the cardiologist had ordered tests. Those results then showed I had what is known as idiopathic cardiomyopathy (don't ask
), in addition to angina. My heart valves also tend to have 'spasms' from time to time, especially under stress. Needless to say after that little episode, I have been checked by Cardiology at least once a year.So now to the present.....
*drum roll.......*
Yesterday's report stated this:
MY HEART IS STRONGER AT 41 THAN IT WAS AT 35!!!!
There are no more signs of cardiomyopathy either, and the echocardiogram was NORMAL
!And to quote him: "I don't know what you are doing, young lady, but keep up that clean living!"
Now if THAT wasn't worth the trip to Pittsburgh!
