  • I am officially 80 pounds down today! I still have a ways to go but I am finally getting there

I never thought I would see this day with my pcos and hypothyroidism but with the lord's help I feel so blessed. I was getting severe health problems and with my weight loss my arthritis, asthma, and hypertension are sooo much better

My next goal is 40 pounds away (to get under 200) then the next one is to get below dh's weight 180. I cant wait for these months to pass by and feel so good about myself this summer!
  • Congratulations!!!! That is awesome!
  • Alright!!
Way to go Autumn!!! What a great accomplishment! I know you must be so pleased to see how well you've done. I'm at the 18 lb. mark myself and have quite a ways to go but I know I'll make it with the support here at 3FC.

  • Autumn,

    That is fabulous!!!

I too have PCOS and am wondering how you are doing it. I have a plan that is working well for me right now, but could always use extra advice -- especially from those much further along!

    Peace
  • Autumn, your doing great!!!

Congratulations!! I can appreciate how hard it is for you....I too have PCOS and have struggled.

    But you did it!!! WTG!

  • Thanks Ladies so much for the suppourt I'm just following the old fashioned low fat low calorie diet. I'm on glucophage to keep my insulin down so its like a normal person's If I can do this you can too!

Sue- Its called polycystic ovarian syndrome. Its a disease that makes it very hard to lose weight with high insulin that needs to be treated with medicine also a bunch of other things go with it. I also have hypothyroidism too which makes my metabolism not up to par either. I have to exercise quite a bit more than the average person but its worth it and it will make my heart healthy. I do aerobic activity for about an hour and a half daily.

BTW- its 88 pounds lost now
  • That is fantastic!! Good for you!
