Home Scale vs Center Scale

  • Hi Everyone!

Just curious but do some of you go by your home scale rather than the scale at the center you go to?

My scale is always a pound or 2 higher than the scale at my center. Today when I stepped on my scale it says I'm 179.3 but if I was at my center it would probably be 180-181. Sometimes I wonder which one is more accurate?
  • I go by mine, since there are fewer variables and I have no clothes on. When I dress for the meeting, I weigh again and it's pretty close to what the center says.

I log the weight from my scale in the online tracker, and the center scale weight is on the paper tracker.

If they are only a pound or 2 off, I think they are both accurate. If it was a 5 pound difference, then I'd worry.
  • I try not to weigh myself at home because my scales always say i weigh less and get my hopes up
  • @Seagirl-I think you're right, our home scales are more accurate because we have the option of what to wear OR not wear when we weigh in at home. I'm going to go by my scale when I enter my numbers into the ticker on here.

I don't know why but it's so hard for me to stay off my scale! I've weighed myself every morning since I started, I suppose it's become a habit that's hard to break.

Bad habit and because it's fun! Or at least it is when you see the number going down!
