    If you're hungry, have another packet. You can have up to 5 in the first week. Just keep it to 1 restricted packet/day.

    Amy, thanks for letting us know. I'm just finishing off a box of the older version. I sure hope my coach still has lots of stock of it! Maybe like the vanilla RTDs, they're shipping to the U.S. first -- giving Americans first crack at the new and "improved" and giving Canadians the old and "lousy." (I can hope, right?) I have noticed that this most recent box mixes more poorly than previous packets. I often have powder lumps in my pudding and I never had that.

  • Good Tuesday Morning Everyone!!!
    Was a very busy weekend for me, Sat. 50th Wedding Anniversary for my Uncle & Auntie, Sun. was our annual Church Fall Supper plus 2 sets of company for coffee and yesterday WI and 2 meetings!!! Deep Breath....and today off with my DS-I-L for a day out!!! AND STAYED ON PROTOCAL THE WHOLE TIME!!!

    That is hilarious! I too had a pizza dream last night! Was eating 2 deep dish pizzas and washing it down with a diet coke! I woke feeling guilty too!!!

    I am getting SO close to ONEderland I cannot even believe it! The only other time I ever went on a diet before, the lowest I got to was 204 -- where I sit right now.. then I gave up.. so this time its going to be different! I can't wait to get out of this weight and into ONEderland!!!!!!!!

    Looks like its going to be another great day!

    I had a NWI this morning, and :O :O :O am at 170!!!!!!

    I am so excited because I know that once I get into the 160's, I will start to fit some of my clothes. I need to be in the low 150's to fit my "nice" clothes, but I am so excited to have a wardrobe again. As it sits, I already have 4 pairs of pants I can wear.

    I will definitely keep your parents in my prayers! My Mom has Alzheimer's as well. I have spent quite a bit of time with her over the last few days and I know how challenging and hard it is to see our loved ones suffering. I will keep you in my prayers as well. Have a great day!

    OK, that was good. Mine was I had a leg get cut off. Thinking I need the Potassium tablet that I forgot to take yesterday as I remember a leg cramp in the middle of the night. Weird how your body/mind does this kind of thing to you. WI 7 tomorrow and if I sustain my scale as of this am I did another 2 but really hoping for 3. I find now that I'm down to closing on my goal, it's getting harder and harder. Harder to resist, harder to excerise, harder to make sure I do the 3 packets and vitamins. I know I can't quit but struggling especially getting compliments that make me figure I've done enough.

    Just finished reading up yesterday's posts - couldn't figure out how to make the multipost work into the next day though, so, here goes from memory.

    First, Carla, let me echo THANK YOU! What a job you've undertaken, and one I'm sure most of us were hoping for.

    Linden, what disappointing and FRUSTRATING news! I'd be steaming. Hope your puppy is not too traumatized from the pit bull event.

    Tedski, I do chocolate pudding every evening (with a drizzle of chocolate sauce on top). I find if I just add a smidge more water it pours out of shaker better. Then I just stick it in the fridge for a bit to chill and set more.
    I've never seen the ingredients for pudding because I don't have the box. I get an assortment of packets every week and my coach just puts them in whatever boxes are handy. I wonder if the packets here in Canada are the same as the US?

    Congratulations to everyone with NSVs - my pants are starting to get droopy butt too, and I'm so excited! I bought a couple of new tops last week, because I've lost more inches up top. But now my bottom is finally starting to catch up.

    Today is WI #4 for me. After last week's dismal .6 loss, I'm hoping for bigger numbers. I'll keep you posted. Yesterday I did have someone who didn't know I was dieting say I was looking great and had I lost weight? I wanted to say 'No duh, over 15 lbs!', but I just smiled sweetly and said, yes, thanks for noticing!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! Just had to tell you that. BTW you live in one of the prettiest places on earth. We visited about 10 years ago on our way to Whistler and I was in heaven.
  • After reading the post about the chocolate pudding yesterday I went and looked at the box I had just purchased. Yup it was the new one. It's interesting that some of the new versions have sugar listed as an ingredient? I thought that was a big no no??? Anyways I made it into a shake this morning and all I can say is it is very blah. I liked the older version much much better! I will probably go back to the drink instead of the pudding from now on.
  • Good morning..have been lurking these days

    Been busy at work and last night while I sat down to eat some veggies I bought in the cafeteria I was munching away and realized I had munched 2 baby carrots...OOPS! The veggies I get at work are nice there is a nice assortment and I only have to pick out the carrots and cherry tomatoes..and it gives me about 2 cups of veg for 2.00. Nice when I am in a rush or worked a double like yesterday. It was weird though how I ate those two without even thinking..must have been tired

    By my scales I think I am down about 16lbs

  • Morning everyone!

    Weighed myself this morning - no change in a week. First reaction was that flood of negative emotions, self doubt, questioning everything I'd eaten, my fluid intake and amount of exercising... After a couple of minutes of feeling disappointed and upset with myself - I had a MAJOR attitude adjustment. I realized I didn't do anything different, I feel good with where I'm at and beating myself up over something so insignificant is pointless.

    So... put on my workout gear and did my pilates routine. While I was doing my routine I took time to really look at my body and focused upon how far I've come. By the time I was finished exercising, I felt great! I know that just a few weeks ago, I wouldn't be where I'm at today. So... I didn't lose this week, but I feel great!

    NSV: LOVING the the way my legs look from below the knees down AND LOVING the way my arms look from the elbows down (definitely couldn't say either of those statements a few weeks ago).
