Weekend Menus', July 20 & 21

  • Trying for 30-40g. carb, and 1500 calories

    b- 2 eggs with spinach and feta cheese

    l-chicken salad

    s- celery with veggie flavored cream cheese, 1 T. peanut butter

    d-fish, maybe grilled green and yellow squash

    B. 2 coffees
    2 slices Canadian bacon
    1 egg - to **** with my cholesterol problem!
    Plan
    L. Chicken breast with some mayo
    on romaine and spinach
    Cucumber
    D. Stir-fried shrimp and scallops with bok-choi
    brown noodles
    Raspberries

    B-Protein drink made with water, whey protein, and frozen bluberries

    l- Wendy's Mandrian chicken salad, minus the chinese noodles

    s- Salad made with boiled shrimp, cherry tomatoes, avacado, and little bit of onion and maynosise. It was wonderful!!!

    I've drank about 2 gallons of water.
  • My menu for today was:

    B - omelet w/lox (smoked salmon) & onion

    L - salad w/tuna and swiss, Ranch dressing

    D - tilapia w/brocolli & cauliflower, atkins ice cream for dessert

    s - 1/2 Advantage bar, sf jello
  • Losing more brain cells than fat cells, I think. I said much earlier today that I would be posting my menus and then I totally forgot. Oh well, I'm here now.
    I'm trying to increase my fat and decrease my protein just for a couple of days. Sort of a modified Atkins Fat Fast.

    B:
    1 egg
    1 slice low carb bread
    2 tsp butter
    1/2 avacado
    1 tbsp cream cheese

    L:
    sliced beef wrapped around cream cheese & pickle
    fried chicken leg
    lettuce & tomato and mayo

    S:
    whipped cream and peanut butter (yummy)
    mixed slightly and frozen in a custard cup.

    D:
    2 pieces fried chicken
    stir fry zucchini, red pepper, green onion and mushrooms
  • Sunday Menu
    It got cooler here last night, so I am willing to use the oven! I will make a roast beef, and some chicken breasts for the week.

    Linda, I am looking at my fat intake too. I think I have my carbs too high, and am worrying about fat too much! Boy, even after all this time, it's still hard to get it right. I am sticking to the book for this week! Bought some sour cream dip for celery, some whipped cream for jello, and some salami!

    snacks-sf jello with whipped cream, celery and carrots with dip

    b: another omelet w/ lox & onions

    l: tuna w/ amer cheese wrapped in latortilla shells (2), cucumber

    d: 1/2 chicken cooked w/mesquite marinade (Lawry brand -- LC (sorta) and delicious! 1carb per Tbl) , brocolli & Cauliflower

    s: 1/4 advantage bar, 1 oz sunflower seeds, 1 serving Atkins ice cream

    drank my water, but not enough veggies today.. no salad
