Smile I don't wanna be a fat bride!!!!!

Hello!

I thought i would introduce myself

My name is Hayley, I am 25, a mum to 3 boys (aged 7,3,1) i live in Cleveland, England. I live with my partner Robert and we get married in 15 weeks!!

I desperately need to shift some weight before the wedding i have managed to lose 10lbs in the past 2 months but its creeping back on!!!
I have a beautiful wedding dress but its way to tight so i want to lose at least another 14lbs over the next 2 months.

Problem is i eat because i am bored most of the time and although i know i am doing it i can't stop it!!

I have started to follow the paul mckenna diet is anyone else trying this out?

I would love any advice on shifting this flab!!!

I am trying to exercise more, cycling, walking and using a fitness ball.

Well thats about me.....thanks for reading xxx

I had a problem with eating while I was bored...my advice on that one is when you get bored just get up and get out. Go for a walk...it's healthy, gives you something to do and gives you some alone time to think and relax.

Welcome and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Whenever you feel boredom creep up get busy. Exercise, clean, read a book, do anything except reach for food.

Ooh lucky you getting married! Boredom eating is problematic isn't it. You just have to avoid having unhealthy stuff in to snack on, but I bet with a partner and kids living with you that's pretty tricky. Still there's lots of nice healthy snacks. I like cottage cheese on dutch crisp bakes, fruit (like apples, melons, oranges are quite low calorie), yoghurts (like weight watcher only have 50 calories). But I don't have 3 kids so feel free to tell me to but out!
Good luck.

I struggle with food mainly because my hubby 2 be likes to buy cakes and chocolate biscuits for the kids and everytime i go in the kitchen there are just there waiting to be eaten! I have tried to cut down the amount we buy at least and buy a lot more fruit which i enjoy. I have been listening to my paul mckenna cd and to be honest i really feel like i am being re programmed! I am not thinking about food all the time now, and i am finding that i am listening to my body and stopping when i am full, instead of over eating.
I started it about 3 days ago and have managed to lose a 1lb so far so i am not complaining!
Just have to keep listening to my body and not to my mind telling me to eat!!

I used to be really bad with boredom eating as well. One trick I have found is to brush my teeth or use really strong mouthwash. It makes everything taste nasty. Gum chewing has also helped me. If I absolutely must have a snack I usually go for the small bags of microwave pocorn. I eat one piece at a time so it takes a while to eat it all. Also, like Hpnotq said, just to get moving also helps. Do you have any hobbies? Are you into crafts at all? I have taken up jewelry making since it keeps my hands busy. (No hands free to stuff my face with!)

I'm big into writing....I write about NASCAR all the time. On top of that I'm a scrapbooker, so that helps me alot as well. Great job on the 1 lb so far!

Hi Hayley! Congradulations on your upcoming wedding! 15 weeks is a good amount of time to make big changes I wish you luck! I also have three kids about the same age as yours (they are 8,5,and 3) I am 23 yrs old (oldest is stepdaughter)

I started my fittness/low calorie plan in March. I have only lost 5 lbs so far because I had some bumps in the road. My husband is similar to yours. He likes to bring home chocolate and treats for me even though he knows I am trying to change my bad eating habbits. It can be hard but I do all the grocery shopping and i bring a list with me and make sure I've eaten before I go so I stick to the list.

I'm sure you will be a beautiful bride.
